The Alchemy V3 Pro Blades complete the V3 family. Alchemy has managed to pack everything, in terms of performance and efficiency, into a smaller size. This means that the new shorter fins offer all the benefits of the longer versions with a few extra advantages. Compact size offers great versatility no matter the intended use. The new length makes the blades a lot faster and easy to maneuver under any circumstances.

Hello Kona Freedivers, I have the impression from seeing you bend the fin that it's quite rigid. Can you confirm this? Do you remember the fin stiffness in the video? Soft? Generally speaking, is the V3-30 PRO stiffer than the classic V3-30? I'm looking for fins for light people

For someone on a budget a plastic long blade fin is good. These will typically be in the $80 - $150 range. We prefer the Cressi Gara Modular Impulse and the Seac Motus depending on what fits you best. For a better beginner fin we prefer the leaderfins abyss stereoblades with the footpocket brand that fits you best ($220-260). These will be a huge upgrade from a plastic fin and are suitable for most divers. In any case you should come by the shop and try a few on with some booties (or bare feet) to ensure a proper fit.

Will this be great for spearfishing?

Yes. Itis good for that. Also alchemy makes the S-line which is supposed to be geared for spearfishing. It's a bit shorter (more maneuverable) and doesn't have the reinforced tip.

We have not heard about meister carbons. There are many manufacturers of carbon blades nowadays. Why fix what isn't already broken?

Yes they will fit. We have produced that combination many times but they will need rails installed to reach the tendons if they are the short ones.
