Who said #carbon_fiber is not #stiffer than #steel? One of our projects shows that if we hang 3 tonnes in the center of a 30-meter beam, we only bend by 0.28mm!!!, and the weight of the beam is under 30 tonnes.
If we had made it in steel we would have exceeded 300 tons... and it would have been oversized in many ways!
