I see no reason why not. I use it for sandblasting headstones (granite is mohs hardness of 9, silicon carbide is 9.4). It is VERY shiny and definitely catches my eye. I'd say go for it!

André Jesus mine does not have sand in it, but yes it is fragile! I put some force on it expecting it not to brake but I guess it did.

@@andrecostajesus thats what I was thinking! I'm not exactly sure why is brakes easily. It might be that they have to straighten it somehow. But I don't know.
