Thanks for the video. Those commenters needing info on how to remove a carburetor may be better served by searching to breakdown their specific unit. I really appreciate that the author stayed on point and didn’t waste our time by using intelligent editing.
Worked perfectly for me THANKS!! Yes the disassembly vid is a bit quick, but there really are so few parts that once you lay hands on, it's no big deal, look at the tray of parts that is disassembled match to that and it is that simple - I took pix during disassembly to retrace my steps for the re-assembly - I used carb cleaner, instead of detergent, but other than that this vid was all I needed to get my AP5000 back up and running quickly and easily.
Hi Jan I done exactly what you said it worked ✅ my generator started straight away but it won’t run without the choke on ,it dies when move the choke lever to run. Maybe strip again and poke all holes with fine wire? Thanks Tim
Hi Tim, yes that's the next step. But make sure the water has at least 85°C and use 1/2 spoon oxi vanish. Also disassemble the main jet and adjustment scews out of the body. And poking all of the holes with a wire is a good final step. Otherwise it will be a new carburetor. cheers JMOT
So, we see this guy trying to start the generator many times in normal speed then, when we NEED to see how the carb comes off etc, it's sped up by a ridiculous amount, thereby preventing us from seeing what he's doing. Waste of time.
Appreciate English is not your first language Jan, but what is the point of a speeded up version with music without describing what your doing? For a non tech guy this video is useless, sorry.
Another U Tuber blaming E10 gas........Terrible video for demonstrating a carb rebuild .......great for companies selling $20 a gallon gas with Sta-bil in it
