Hey again guys! This is my Clow Cards set from the series Card Captor Sakura. This is the American version of the set that I got at an anime convention flea market but the original owner of the cards purchased them at a toy store in America. The book contains a total of 52 cards and fits quite nicely inside and safe! It's a really beautiful set and I love all the characters on the cards. A great piece for any CCS fan. ♥

I used to have this as a kid! I actually got this while my family and I were on a road trip to the Grand Canyon, and I was a little bored during the trip, and because I was a fan of Cardcaptor Sakura (a.k.a Cardcaptors in the US) I was content and happy with this.

I wish I had pushed for it more when I was younger. I remember seeing these in stores and asked for it when I saw them but my mom said no at the time. My sister tried looking for them for me at Christmas time later but couldn’t find it - either they sold out or weren’t in stock anymore. The box set I saw had all the cards, the Clow book, the key necklace and the staff altogether. Now I see that you have to buy the cards separately from the key and staff. One of my biggest childhood regrets. 😂

omg im so glad after seeing yours i was panicking over my return card since mine has the sand timer like the time card but any of the cards i seen online had her holding a clock and it only changed when make into a sakura card thanks for sharing

well... the box is beautyful *-* but the colors aren't, but well, every version of the clow card set, has some especial things, i got one with pretty colors and a good book, but not enough pretty as yours, and i saw another set with awesome cards, but no book hehe, nice video

I've seen it, thanks.(Watery is my favorite card, so, I was affraid) PS: at 2:07, on the side of the book, "The Clow" is written in Gold lettres, instead of the black letters of the 1st episode of the anime, that's a bit strange, but not bad at all.

@MissNadjah Um… You probably have the japanese version which is worth A LOT more. Especially since it has the CLAMP trade mark. I'm soo jealous.

@lizzzostia I got them in Ohio, USA. It was an anime convention flea market, so not quite the same as a normal flea market.

@llamapalooza16 The Japanese set that is similar to this one is larger and has no clasp. Plus, the coloring is slightly different from the America one. The Clamp trademark is on both versions. ^^;

Hope is not part of this, original set of Clow Cards. Usually the Hope card is only found in sets with the Sakura card or in bootlegs.

@MissNadjah Hello! The clasp is made of plastic. I'm pretty sure it's the same plastic as the case. And my cards all say the same thing on the back, so I'm quite sure yours is real!

It does say watery but the little line that makes it an r instead of a p is hard to see.But if you pause the video you can barely make it out.

Hi there! I have a set that looks very similar. (I bought mine in an OP shop years ago) and I'm just trying to figure out if mine is a bootleg version. The case and my cards look exactly the same (from what I can see), but can you just tell me what material your clasp of the book is made of? Also, is there any writing on the back of your card? Mine says (c) CLAMP et al at the bottom. Does yours say the same thing? Thank you! C:

There are different versions of the cards that were printed. It all depended on where you purchased yours from and the time frame you bought them. The previous owner of these purchased them at a toy store in America that went out of business. Sorry, but they're original. They're licensed.

the hope card was created by sakura, it is NOT a clow card but a sakura card.

The original Clow is 52 just like a real deck of cards. Later it became 55 adding the 3 new cards from the movie: the hope, the nothing and one nameless card.
