Is it my imagination? OR does this technique leave the FOLDED EDGE almost “deckled” (for lack of a better term)? It just didn’t look to be as smooth a fold as what we get from first s c o r i n g the card base. Nonetheless, T F S !!
I used to do mass mailings by hand 'back in the day' (😱 40 years ago!) before the invention of copiers/printers that do all the folding for you. I still do this to the machine-folded sheets because they're not nearly crisp enough, so I'm an old pro at this. 'Old' being the operative term! 😂
That works for thinner cards, but the point of scoring is to soften the fibres so the card doesn't crack. I would do it thus way on some Chardstock but find my black Chardstock definitely needs prescribe. Thanks for the tip x
?????? Anna I have a question: When you showed part of your move to the basement for your craft room I noticed that you had not finished your ceiling yet. Oh do I know the problem with that. I'm wondering what you did for finish that off or you haven't yet but know what you are going to do? I have an additional problem - I have the heater and water heater in my room that I have a really cool barricade around them to cut the noise and the "look" while I craft. There are pipes in the ceiling and silver air vent channels that come out from this barricade so it's just not so easy to put up sheetrock. HELP!! I do have a decent room, lol. I sure could love some suggestions if you have any. ??????? Thank you./
We actually left our ceiling unfinished. We did spray paint it, so its all one color, but left it unfinished. I didn't want a drop ceiling because it would seem low and closed in. Not sure if this is any help!
@@handmakewithlove Yes it sure did! I have flopped back and forth from covering it and painting it. What did you do about lighting if I might ask? I have hanging ones like you would find in a garage at certain spots over where I work. I have tiny window but it's covered with peal and stick flowers so no one watches me, lol - so no natural light.
Fantastic!! I actually hate the way my cs looks when I follow the "prescribed" way of scoring and folding away from the crease. The inside of the fold always looks messy! Thank you for this!
