I never understood why Lacey and Susanna couldn't stay in these original dealer outfits. The two of them have two of the best pairs of legs I've ever seen on t.v.
djpatc63 My guess is that the 1986 Card Shark dealers (Lacey Pemberton and Susanna Williams) were wearing those outfits to entice Press Your Luck fans to watch Card Sharks. From January 6, 1986 (Date of the CBS Card Sharks premiere) to September 26, 1986 (Date of the Final Episode of Press Your Luck (not acknowledged as the series finale)) Card Sharks was competing (and winning) against Press Your Luck. This was when Press Your Luck was dropped by most CBS affiliates. It got to a point where only the CBS owned and operated stations were carrying Press Your Luck because the CBS O & O had to carry the FULL network schedule, for better or for worse.
At 14:00 - Bob made a mistake commenting about "Estelle winning the game," when she lost it over to Darryl (automatically). He could've said "the game will continue, if Estelle was right," but hey, that's one of his bloopers.
+Malek Masoud Daryl bet all $800 on a TEN?! I knew it was gonna happen like this because betting on those middle cards is a big no-no! What were they thinking?!
Spoiler at 14:20 approx he mistankenly says player would win if called right; she had to turn over two not one card. Also question card /prop, looks diff than later in series
I am anal. It always bothered me that the girl wearing the red outfit would sometimes deal the blue cards and the girl in the blue outfit would sometimes deal the red cards. I know the girls (Lacey & Susanna) later in the run commented how they hated wearing those "drum majorette" outfits. They looked better in actual dresses and such later on in the run!
