Cool idea! I think making a static Jason would work great. I made a static Myers, looks awesome as he is usually just standing still staring at people anyways lol
The sign is fantastic! I am not sure where the bug screen is on the van, could you have Jason standing on the steps? This way you would see the whole body. I do think making your own Jason dummy would bring it up a notch.
That's why we picked the hottest day of the year...Lol I keep trying to convince my husband to work on Halloween props in the spring when it's the best weather. I thought the sign was store bought, it looked so good. You should buy any cheap animatronic you can find to just use the body frame to dress up as anything you want like Jason, or use the frame of one you already own and just aren't using that year.

I think you could make your own Jason from a dummy form, goodwill clothes and the mask and weapon OR what about using the peppers ghost technique? Now that would be interesting. Really impressive sign, looks great. Would love to see a prop redress/custom Jason video at some point. The simplicity of Jason as a character makes it very easy to repurpose old clothes and things and give it new life (or death?) with the addition of the hockey mask and some blood. With so many movies, there’s a lot of inspiration to work from
That sign is really nice! Couldnt you use one of your existing animatronic figures and dress it up like Jason? Get some coveralls at the thrift store & a hockey mask? Its gonna be a fun display!
Have you considered putting Jason on the drivers side of the van where yhe top half is visible and maybe put a light to show his mask better? I like the previous comment about using an old prop with a hickey mask.
omg a crystal lake display is going to be epic! i love the Friday the 13th movies. and your property is perfect to tuck in some jason surprises here and there.
