In December 2021, The Cardboardtania and the Cardboard Princess 2 sank in the North Cardboardian Sea, resulting in the deadliest Cardboard Cruise Lines disaster to date. Filmed on private property, with permission.
These guys didn't just drown in frozen water but were burned alive... The Cardbodian Transportation Safety Board (CTSB) should've taken action by now! The amount of accidents is alarming
Think of how many accidents white star line had they basically made the safety books and new safety features because how dangerous their ships were so each time on sunk (which was a lot) they would make more safety features
*Crew reported the Captain had been drinking Elmer's glue by the bottle in the days preceding the accident.* *Had he only waxed the hull or applied a quick cap of aluminum foil, Cardboardians would have lived to be recycled.*
The Cardboard Princess 2 was not certified to tow a ship of the Cardboardtania's size by herself by the Royal Cardboardian Board of Trade (RCBT). The crew were bluntly negligent and careless to a criminal degree as there should have been someone operating the tow line's quick release mechinism that would have saved the lives of everyone on the Cardboard Princess 2. And besides, they shouldn't have been attempting to tow the massive Cardboardtania when her radio operators confirmed the ship to be on her last legs and about to plunge. Also I'm sure that the wreck will be cool by the way.
I agree with everything stated. The captain of The Cardboard Princess 2 was just newly graduated from Mariboard Academy and was eager to prove themselves. So when this situation was suddenly handed to them they had a quick decision to make. Either attempt to save the Cardboardtania with their outdated equipment or risk public shame and backlash for doing little to nothing. As history showed us the captain chose the first sealing the fate of all those aboard. Just goes to show that even good intentions have terrible consequences.
Those souls may not be with us, but their memory will always be close to our hearts. Let's hope this tragedy reminds us of our mistakes and guides us to a "deeper" understanding of a safer way forward. Let them rest in peace.
Good one, Rural Living, and to this day, Cardbordia Cruise Line’s three newest ships are even safer, and it is very, very unlikely that they will capsize.
“her stern seemed to shudder as with one gigantic explosion, her third funnel blew off and the ship was engulfed in a fireball of flames on the starboard side. With a final heave and roar, the wounded beast died, submerged in the icy sea around her…” idk how i stumbled upon this video but it was an experience and i CANNOT wait to see more!!! please keep up the amazing work!
"I was eating my lunch talking to other people in the food court just having a good time, suddenly the ship lurched forward like some thing had put something heavy on the bow, what ever it was was causing the ship to sink, me and some of the dudes I was talking with were trying to get out of the food court, but some jerk had locked the doors from the outside, when the tables and chairs went forward to the front we knew we were upright, I broke open a window and jumped out, the freezing water was so cold I could have passed out, i got onto a capsized life boat and caught my breath, when suddenly huge boiler explosion, ignited the funnel and the ship itself, I saw the ship upright in flames now, one of the dudes that I talked to in the food court came to me cold and clearly shaken up, he had said the food court caught fire and a mother and her child fell into the blazing fire but then I pointed up at the stern the stern was on fire with people on the stern getting roasted to a crisp people jumped off the stern while having 3rd Degree burns into the cold freezing water, finally the ship went under.. I was so shaken up I just sat there and cried with that dude, then a woman that was severely burned, came to us in pain and in the freezing water, we pulled her up and comforted her, all I could do was think about that woman and her baby until help arrived." [Edited the story cuz I messed up on my writing, enjoy my story]

“I was enjoying my Breakfast while we were under slow steam. I felt us stopping, and assumed we had reached an ice field, for it was a brutal December that year. After we had stopped for a few moments, I felt a sudden lurch that nearly pulled me off my chair. I immediately retired from the table and investigate the source of the motion, and was shocked to feel a second lurch as I had reached the boat deck. The Cardboardtania was plunging through the depths at an alarming rate. All at once, I was thrown off my feet as my ship began to founder. I ran to the port, to avoid the list and to find a source of survival. All at once, with a tremendous shudder, the third funnel began to belch flames as we began our plunge. Seeing that I would be sucked under, I made the decision to release my grip from the rail and swim for shore. I made it to an ice sheet just as the ship was disappearing from my view. The last of the flames went under, and the Cardboard Princess was gone in a cloud of black smoke.” -Charles Cactus, Cabin A14, Cardboard Princess
“I was on the stern enjoying a cigarette as the Princess stopped. It was a frigid morning, roughly 7-8 Am, I cannot say for certain. I was laughing with a group of my friends, Benjamin Cordon, Feng Guo and Jamie Oliver, as we decided to get some breakfast at the restaurants on the ship. We laughed and joked as we ate our breakfast, until we heard commotion from the bow. Then a shudder and a sudden jolt forward in the water. We headed up there as we saw to our horror, the Cardboardtania’s stern sticking out of the water, just going beneath the waves. As the Princess’s bow is dragged underwater, me and my friends quickly ran aft. The starboard list quickly set in as we had to put one hand on the railing. We had made it to the First Class lounge as we were all thrown off our feet and fell into the wall. I landed thankfully on a cushioned part of a chair, semi relieving the bad effects of the fall. I was split up from two of my friends, I never saw them again. It was me and Jamie left. We were just picking ourselves up as we heard a terrible explosion rock the ship, and smoke began to pour into the room. Me and Jamie’s eyes were burning as we walks across the wall to the sideways door. It was there that the flames got to the lounge. I saw Mr. Papierbord in the smoking room window as I watched the fire consume him. I grabbed my friend’s hand and jumped to a railing. I held onto the railing until the fire found us. We both jumped from the starboard railing and landed in the freezing waters. I swam as fast as I could to an ice sheet. We got to one just to see the flaming mass slip beneath the waves, never to be seen again.” -Passenger John Charles, Cabin B12, Cardboard Princess
That Cardboard line really needs to learn from their design mistakes. A new age of super liner that is unsinkable. Maybe they should make cardboard warships.
I loved the cardboard princess 2 sinking. The people on top of it were probably just burning to death it's kind of dark. When the stern started going down i notice the last funnel got kind of trapped on the ship and went down with it. I thought it was really cool. Can I see more ships sinking because of fire, thows are always good.
Two ships in one incident? This is going to make one heck of a second video when it comes time for the spring thaw. To be honest, I was expecting the fire would burn through the stern making it fall back level. EDIT: Just thought of this but remember the scene during Titanic when they were deploying lifeboats and one of the men kept yelling 'I need a knife!' over and over again? For some reason as the cable pulled the other ship down I kept thinking of that line in the background.
The new camera perspectives close to the waterline give it a lot more realism. With the hills in the background the whole scene also profits from more depth. Looking forward to the wrecks' progress.
@cowgirlchloe, This was perhaps your most impressive creation yet. The way you got the stern of the second vessel to hang in the air until the fire finally burned through the last bulkhead, allowing the water to rush into the stern and finish her off demonstrates a sincere talent for planning and forethought. Your creations are demonstrative of an organizational and calculational skill that would serve you well in any number of different technological industries. I would not be surprised to find you sharing videos of your career as a naval architect or working at NASA. Well done.
Im so suprised that no one sued the cardboard ship line for the $1 trillion in damages for the ships and the people and for the environmental damages, plus great video 👍
You should try using flex seal and do some water line antifouling. It would be waterproof and leak proof. That is, until Cardboardia Sailing Line's inevitable bad luck strikes...
I like to think all the cardboardia wrecks are separate companies ships and the sinkings themselves happen years or decades apart to add a little more realism since everything else is already pretty spot on.
This is really funny cause a different points in my life I keep on stumbling upon this account once when I was really really really young once or twice in high school and now as a 21-year-old adult again
I love how the first ship sank like how ppl back then depicted on how the titanic sank in one piece. And also the second ship looks like a Titanic x Imperator x Disney Dream hybrid lol
I enjoy every of your videos very much and love the nice details of all your ships. It would be nice if you could make a video that shows how you produce a ship with its intrieur. Also how you manage it to film scenes from the inside qwhile the ship is sinking! Greetings from Germany
