Perfect. I always wanted to get into vanguard but didn’t have the time. And slowly fell behind in the meta and such. Now is the perfect time for me to get back into the scene

Five years ago in January I bought TD01, now I can't wait to buy VGE-V-TD01 (and all the other stuff...)!

I'm in love with the new mechanics... I'm worried about the prospects of them shutting down Superior Ride channels as that's something that Robos do fairly well. It's a rumor but if they hold to it... I could be losing some of my favorite cards in Goyusha and Daiheart. For the most part, I'm excited over Standard... and Premium... and can't wait to see how the rebooted Dimension Police handle. A floodgate of Justice being renewed... sounds like a dream come true!

Thank the heavens! Daikaiser really is the Dimension-Polices strongest champion. No matter what new defensive-mechanic appears, he is going to break it. For Justice of course. This also let me think: Is Bushiroad going to give Guard-Break to DP again in the reboot-era? Because, lets be real: Only having a high-powered center-column with a big crit won't mean a thing with the raised shields and Protect-cards running wild. They more or less are going to need DaiKaisers equalizer to stand a chance unless D-Police gets another workaroung for this problem. Also: Even with OTT getting Tom back I highly doubt that we are going to get Laurel back as well during the reboot era. He's propably going to be the only original clan leader who won't make a comeback unless he gets changed completly.

I must say a reason that I like Vanguard is that the text reminds me of programming style text, I hope they don't lose that in the long run, for now it still looks they will keep the format. XD

well... it would be unfair if nova grappler got a lot of Accel markers, because they had a lot of cards that could stand all rear gaurds

I am looming forward to enjoy the game from its roots.

I hope they do bring in some characters who didn't show up in the manga. There are quite a few from the OG anime I like who didn't appear there. Plus, it could diversify the anime cast more than if they stick more strictly to adapting the manga.

For people who are not clear with the new stride rules -You can now stride if your opponent tries to grade stuck you, regardless if they are grade 2 or 1. the only condition you need to meet to stride if your opponent has stayed at their current grade is that you must have been at grade 3 for at least a single turn. So i am going to guess that as long as you were at grade 3 before, you can still ride another grade 3 and then stride because you were at grade 3 and as long as you were at grade 3 the previous turn you still can stride at that instance.

GC does already get support this year "GBT-14" So it will be next year I hope. Because right now GC is so powerful, they have superior call RG, Multiple attacks, put into bottom deck, Drawing extra card, Free Stride, Restanding VG, Gaining additional turn, +Power, Huge Shield power. I have the Deck

I would like to point out that Seabreeze is not useless with the edit to the stride rules. If your opponent has skipped riding (at grade 2 of cause) in an attempt to stop you striding first because you were going second, you can still use Seabreeze. A lot of people I have talked to have said that Seabreeze is now completely useless, so I want to spread this further.

I have to correct you on one thing Kris (I just heard that so I haven't watched it all yet), VR is technically not GR and stuff. Vanguard Rare is actually guaranteed to be 1 per case, I guess that's why the ratio of the "gen rarity" has been upped to 4.

Hi, may I ask if, for example, in a premium deck, I ride Dragonic Overlord and use Force, and during the next turn, I ride Dragonic Overlord "The Legend", can "The Legend" still get the +10,000 Force, which is obtained from the previous turn? I don't think you have explained that in your video... Thanks :)

oh my that stride rule change is kind of big. Kills off grade 2 decks by making every stride a sebreeze (rip sebreeze btw) and buffs superior riding strategies since that means they can stride even sooner. Not that this matters to me since I am planning to stick to standard but this could have some interesting results in premium format.

This video helped me understand a lot of the new ruling, yet I still cannot wrap my head around the new 1/turn ruling. People keep mentioning "standby", which is news to me.

2 Questions about Front Triggers 1. When a Front Trigger is Drive Checked, does it give 10k to a single front row unit or all front row units similar to how Damage Check does? 2. If a unit in the front row that gained the 10k from it gets moved to the backrow, does it retain the 10k until end of turn or does it fizzle because it was removed from the front row?

Just curious, how different is the manga different from the old anime??

Really appreciate the clarifications but I've got one question, since we're allowed to guard w/ anything regardless of our VG's grade, how will this affect guard restricts with things like Dust, Dragstrider and Balaam? I hope they bring stride back. I just started, like waiting for cards to come in the mail to finish my first deck. I dont like the idea that they are reprinting all the cards with new effects and powers cause that means the older cards are naturally worst. And what does that mean at turnaments? If a player has an older copy of the card do they treat it like the new reprint? I feel like the reprinting will muddy the card base and make it confusing for players and new players, especially when they are at a card store and wanna look through older card sets.

So they did not say anything about: 1. The Clans would receive the same amount of support than others? Because with the wording they could give just 4 cards to a clan and that's the "support" for the year. Example: ORIGINAL Nubatama did not get the same amount of support that every other clan in the old series. 2. The quality/power of the cards in regards with the effects are gonna be closer for every clan or there is gonna be clans that get worse support? Example ORIGINAL Nubatama in the old series or Oracle think Tank in the G-series until they receive Ishikishima. 3. There are different play styles for the same clan, so what about a situation where the imaginary gifts do not fit the other play style of the clan. Example: (Link Joker) Star-Vaders vs Messiah the case of Star-Vaders they fit the Protect Gift while Messiah fit the Accel one. Is Bushiroad gonna support both of the archetypes or just one depending in the gift given? As someone that one of his favorites deck is Hand Destruction/ORIGINAL Nubatama this is always in the back of my mind, Because bushiroad sucks at supporting the deck and the consequence is that I DO NOT TRUST them pulling this thing correctly and the game in the future is surely gonna reach the same level of power as the end of the G series AGAIN.

I'm not sure if you can not activate Abarail's skill because the red text doesn't have the "you may pay the cost" clause. Where the Overlord units do on their 1/Turn red text.

I'm just starting to get into this game and well i kind of my misgiving about it just because i started getting cards before i even heard about this and that the clans i liked the most neo nectar,bermuda triangle and genesis aren't going to be out for ages likely and meaning if thye shop that ill be going to holds a standard event i'll be left in the awkward place of not having a clan i would prefer to use so wish they had something for each clan off the bat.

Also, for the ruling and wording of cards, are they making the skills mandatory if you can do it, or they just saying paying if you choose- just worded differently
