i dont have the whole thing, i know instead of bohrs he had palamedes, and i know he has a teched in holy disaste dragon, but other than that, the card list is basically identical to mine, except for the paladmedes and holy disaester dragon
i agree with the trigger line up. I will have to look into charger. I used to play 2 akane and its pretty good, but i personally just like blaster blades retiring aspect more. 15 on the board is great and can swing big but your opponent can guard that and i rather just retire it to insure i get rid of anything. and i am for sure adding in one more shield lol. Just different perferences on our RP decks. I am still testing of course :-)
I find him to be very consistent. The following possibilities G0) Not very good, but its fine I guess. G1) Used as a booster. G2) I replace my charger with it (that way I have a free interceptor). G3) Place it in a open rear-guard, or replace the charger with it. I run.. 1 Soul Saver, 2 Alfred, 4 Gigantic Charger and have yet to have a problem.
i agree with the 2 soul savers. unless you are able to soul charge up to another five to replace the 5 you use for his first ability it's effect isn't able to be used
Great build! :) I personally like Gigantic Charger over Knight of Conviction, Bors because I enjoy calling more units to my field mid to late game so I can keep a larger hand against my opponent which can often help me push for game. As for Margal, it is a great card because most of the time you will just need a 3k boost to hit the "magic number" of 20k+
Pretty solid RP Tiered deck. However, i would suggest you keep the marcgal in the deck. The reason being that marcgal's skill is not meant to boost up your soul, however it is for the +3000. With that, you can save one counterblast for Bors, because i see many of your units require the counterblast, and i would definitely save 3 counterblasts for Alfred because his skill is just that good. Also, running 2 Young Pegasus Knights would be decent. YPK's skill can stack.
@stardust trumpeter lol Jk. I just keep using barcgal cause even though they keep using Gatling, it's not a minus to use barcgals effect, because you still have a +2 on board
in your opinion, what does it do that makes it a good card? In my opinion, there is room when considering cards like alfred, soul saver, and bohrs/palamedes. Sure gancelot can go up to 14 with critical, but it takes 2 CB. In most games, you wont have that option when using blaster blade, pongal, bohrs, alfred CB. Plus its 9 on your opponents turn, making it realy difficult to guard for if you dont have the null guard.
Which means, let's say you have 2 marcgals move into the soul and their power gives all to the Vanguard, your YPK's skill will let it gain 6000, which would be a total of 12000, boosted by a Marron would let it be a 20K G1 Beatdown. So yeah, i don't know if you'd do so, but i do it for my own RP Tier deck.
yeah, but its not often that i am going to be able to do that on one turn, most consistently i will be able to put one in the soul. He is explosive for sure, but i think the other grade ones are more consistent than him.
Gigantic charger is good but honestly at best its a 50/50 chance card you can either draw into a nice card like a grade 1,2, or 3 that you can actually use, or run into a grade 3 that really doesnt work well in the rearguard like SSD or a grade 0 trigger unit. Overall its a good card but not right for the current English meta he gets really good when you can start running and Alfred Early build.
when i went to my vanguard club on saturday bought my self a Descent of the King of Knights booster pack " FRIST ONE OF THE DAY" and pulled a triple rare King of kinghts Alferd
tbh, yes it does, i started with 6crit and 2 stand, and i idnt like it, not enough power, so i went with 7 crit and 1 stand, and it seems to work better than i thought it wud
soul beat is a different story though, having demon slayer in consistently going up to 21 is amazing, i really that deck, the only thing i dont like is that you could potential soul charge things you need :-( , but still good
Situational yes, in a way, but i'm just giving an example of YPK's usage in a sense. However don't you think VG is situational as well? haha. Triggers actually determine wins tbh.
Wow I'm actually really surprised by this. See, I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh player who's trying to get into Vanguard after really liking the anime. As a Yu-Gi-Oh player, I'm kind of used to the fact that the decks that are used in the anime are pretty crappy in actual competitive play. So, it was surprising for me to come to this video and see that a lot of cards that Aichi uses are actually competitive play cards. (:
if u still play this deck, i suggest u take out 2 flogals and put in 2 critical triggers. stands are literally useless in most decks except for aqua force. i dont play any stands in any of all my decks
Beside wingal brave is there a good starting vanguard that can be used with this deck build or a variant of it ? And is barcal only banned from being starting vanguard
gigantech charge is sooo good id never not play him lol im considering going done to 3 but never less, akane is pretty great imo shes 1500 on board, when your up against kagero your glad u have her to rebuild, same with charger. Im probly moving my trigger ratio to 8 crit 4 stand 4 heal, ive been doing 6 6 and 4, I took out margal, hes good but not consistantly good i think, id rather the extra stands and crits for aggro and more shield
specific boosters arent the best. They can help you hit big for sure, but once you lose them, the booster becomes really weak and then you kind of just sitting there with a bad booster. You want to aim for consistency, always having good grade 1 boosters, not ones that can be good if and only if you meet the conditions. I am not saying you shouldnt run it, but that is why i dont run it :-)
