Cardi B stole this episode right out from under Ellen and Ellen knew it too what makes it even worse for Ellen is that Cardi is just being her authentic self and she's used to people enjoying the hell outta her so just rolls right thru it. Btw WTH?...Cardi is anything but stupid did you not notice the part where she basically said something like" Ppl like want me to be like I feel bad for it and be like I don't recommend it but Everything's not for everybody" So she tellin everyone right there that she knew exactly what Ellen was up too hot off the spot and she very smoothly was like so I'm to stupid to know what's up??? Yeah, it's difficult for a celebrity to shine more than Ellen on her show, she does everything in her power to put them in their place. But Cardi just sailed through this interview as happily and cooly as a cucumber. Ellen didn't like it at first but even she became impressed hence her laughter at the "professional passenger joke". Ellen hardly ever genuinely laughs like that Instead she makes the crowd laugh at you.
When she leaned in & said "you know people in the hood call me Bacardi" like she was telling a secret. What I love about Cardi, is she is just herself ALL the time. She is naturally funny without trying. How do you not love a personality like hers. Ellen was trying to be so cool & you can tell she just wanted to bust out laughing. Do like Jimmy Fallon did. He was trying to to hold it in too but couldn't. She is just funny. If they EVER do The Nanny remake, I would LOVE to see Cardi get that role.
