Exercise Physiologist Emma takes you through a home-based walking aerobics session. Please remember to follow the safety advice when exercising and always consult the Cardiac Rehab Team or your Healthcare professional if you have had a change in symptoms.
This is a standing workout so more suitable to those with good mobility and balance.
Please follow the safety information and only complete the workout if you feel well enough to do so.
Ideally when warming up and cooling down you should be around 11 on the RPE scale (light), and when completing the main exercise around 13 (somewhat hard). If it is becoming too difficult please slow down and take a rest if needed. Never exercise through any symptoms.
If you have an inhaler or GTN prescribed please keep them close by.
