She actually said in an interview that her English is stronger being that she grew up in the states & her mother doesn’t speak Spanish. She had to learn it because her dad mainly speaks Spanish and a lot of his side of the family only speaks Spanish.
I can speak very little Spanish but in my opinion it's the most beautiful language. People talk about learning French but French is so nasal and guttural. I wish I'd learned to speak Spanish fluently before I got so old. She's so cute and sounds sweet speaking her native tongue.
No French is not nasally just because you can't curve your tongue to pronounce the words correctly. Spanish is also one of the easiest languages to learn. Meanwhile, French takes a little bit more time to learn and pronounce.
