Take the head and spikes off the fish and fill the sink with water. Submerge the fish in the water to descale and the scales will be left in the sink . Put a plug hole sieve in to collect scales as the water empties. No mess 🤪🎣👍
You may find it easer ounce descailed cut behind the gills and take head off slide point of knife between fish rib cage and cut out to the belly then cut down the ribs to back bone then slide knife along back bone out to dorsel finn down to the tall then repeat other side normanaly takes me 3 to 4 min .great watch well done
Do you check for parasites in the flesh - especially if you're eating fresh and not freezing - not something I used to do but had a few worms in the flesh and something Im more aware of
@@hookedfishing8 Not the nicest things to have to do but best be safe if not freezing - any dark spots in the flesh can be picked out with the tip of a knife
