I notice that although the Cardinals are not scoring a lot of runs, they are doing a better job of playing "small ball". They move runners along and did a good sacrifice.
If the Cardinals folk is more on continuing to play small ball of bunny running over, running the bases smart, taking good at bats, and stop dipping and Swinging for the fence. I think the Cardinals score more than three runs then it might turn in season around
Why cant the Cardinals score more than 3 runs. That seems to be their average number per game..... even in their wins ! They cant continue to rely on pitching.
facts this offense needs to get going. Pitching is actually pretty good..I hate to say this but our lineup might just be big names now they arent producing..I still dont understand why Goldy and Arenado never bat back to back. I think that would get them going..
Because this team has very little offense? It has 4 players that can get constant hits while the rest have about a 20% chance to even get on base once in a game.
@@brendanc1243 THE Cleveland Guardians have the youngest team this year and they are averaging over 6 runs per game. and are in 1st place. The diamondbacks had the 5th youngest team last year and went to the Wolrd Series. But I DO understand what you're saying.

they are similar hitters that want to accomplish the same thing, it's better to have them spread a bit between high contact guys to hopefully increase our chance of getting those high contact guys around the bags since they are extra base hitters. if we had a bit more offensive threat in terms of both contact and power options ala mookie Betts/Freddie Freeman, I could see us doing a 2-3-4 of them with Donnie up front for contact. you can pitch around 2 people, it's much harder to do that to 3 in a row
@@benjaminmcdowell4071 yea we need a new big 3. Oh how I miss Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds..just me personally I loved how they all hit back to back. Was thinking they could do the same with Goldy 3 arenado 4 and then it's a toss up. I see potential with this team but I don't trust them at all. Especially with Marmol..just me personally id bat them back 2 back..at least give it a shot. I also think Maysn winn should be higher up in the lineup and they need to hit whoever's hot right now which is both of our catchers..dh Contreras and let Ivan play more. I also hate they traded Tyler O'Neil for nothing. Other fans are like well he's always injured. So? We gave him up for nothing. He's a good player when he's out there and we needed extra of. Not hating but oniel is way better than victor Scott and sinani. You might hate on this but if it were me I'd at least try out Winn, Donovan, Goldy, Arenado, Nootbar, Contreras, Ivan Herrera, Gorman, Walker.
