I have been trying to figure out what type of couple is this ! Here is a man staying in a toxic mariage all for the sake of his love for his wife ? Yet she ended up endangering their couple by being so selfish and immature. Do people really take time to discuss and AGREE about the major issues prior to engaging themselves into mariage, such as : Family, finances, spirituality …?! Nollyhood with these happy endings always confuses me thought. Why must it always end up with no one bearing the consequences of their bad behaviour?
Wow!!!! Sara you were so wrong the way you treated your husband!!!! You were so cruel to him!!!! You had to carry your cross!!!! Like the man said you have to stabd up to your consequnces!!!! You see when you make bad choices you have to live with it!!! And as for your friend what you sow is what you reap thats why you had to loose that baby because you had bad intentions all along!!!! I thought surrogacy was about a process in which a woman carries and delivers a child for a couple. Why was she behaving like the wife played no part in the creation?

Nothing is ever wrong with it. Nothing ever. But women in those positions are always losing on a certain end. There is barely ever any women that have a win win situation. If u see a woman winning in situations like those, it means there are very good people around her. Meaning the people at ber workplace know her value and respect her. They probably also help her in some kind of way. Plus she have good support system at home too. Either husband who do more or family and friends that help. When a woman wants to pursue a career and maintain a good home, they mostly falls short on one side. And society is very unforgiving to women’s in those two situations. Anyway, I just think that people are quick to say u can have all but in reality, u can’t have it if there is no village with u. Additional, I personally think this should be a conversation to have before the wedding. And both partners should agree on things and stick to it. If one of them changed mind later and the other one can’t agree to the new proposal from the other party, then they should seek counseling and see where their relationship stand.
Clear communication between spouses is the best. To make a decision without the concern of your husband is sometimes not good. And we have to face the consequences of our wrong decision.
As much as i enjoyed the storyline,ashmusy is not a good actress, she should stick to skit,her niche.she was overacting and didnt carry the emotions that comes with the role.no offense.

Its not all about a man and giving a man what he wants you are also valuable. If you are married and still don't desire to put your life on the line to bring a child in this world that is a decision that should be respected. Women you are not less than a man please do not neglect your own wants and desires to satisfy a man.

If it's surrogacy, then the baby belongs to the couple, the surrogate is just carrying the pregnancy, then when is Julia behaving as if the baby belongs to her and Desmond?
Exactly my thoughts. Are they trying to say the surrogate's ovary was fertilized and not the wife's? Nollywood has continued to do this with almost all the movies portraying surrogacy. I don't know if they don't get the concept to make a clear distinction.
@Ifeoma826 they really don't pay attention to the finer details. In this case for instance, we are left to deduce from the wife's statements that it was her ova that was fertilised, and not the surrogate's. There is also the 'minor' detail that our laws don't recognise surrogacy yet, which is why most couples who opt for it do it outside our shores. Go figure.
