The interview is not that hard, and Most agencies needed caregivers badly, and there are more weak ppl who need help it's increasing daily what is hard about this job is watching ppl going to die every day that you arrived at their house you see a dying face of the human being you heard the sound of a human in severe pain. the sound of agony saying help me, please. I am a caregiver I should not shade a tear but, my heart cries, and my tears run down my cheek. I told his daughter and friend I should not cry but, I am crying! The elderly under hospice care with DNR doesn't mean they are not in pain. I think is torturing the elderly once they signed this DNR legal form the family member surrendered you to hospice. Hospice claimed that they make sure you are comfortable while waiting for your last breath. The nurse came once a wake put a bandage on the wound without ointment later on he is screaming there is a bug biting me on my back. When I look at it was the bandage stick to the flesh. What I read online about hospice is not the service my client has gotten. My client died the next day at the hospital after the hospice nurse agreed that yes! I can call the ambulance to take him to the hospital. Hospice will decide if you should continue living or not, that is my experience observing their quality service I only speaking for the hospice that I met I am not generalizing for those who really care. There in the hospital, they follow the DNR paper, they were giving him a double dose of painkillers from .25 ml every 4 hours to .50ml every 2 hrs until he died. I still remember his face looking at me for the last time and I felt the last squeeze of his hand on my palm as he said see you! He always requested me to care for him. This is the most important about this job. Can you handle it?

I tried to make a whole list of things I would say. When I arrived there, we just had small talk and when I thought the interview was going to start, she asked me if I had any further questions before signing the contract. In all fairness, she already knew me for more then 20 years because she was a close friend of my mother, so she knew pretty much everything about me. Easiest job interview I 've ever done, it was already over before I thought we where getting started. Little did I realize, all that preperation wasn't really necessary. Best job I ever had, no regrets!

I have been a caregiver from 2018 to the present I always have the freedom to work the hours that I want. the interview is not the #1 category I didn't have the experience I worked to get experienced and took 40 hrs classes certification for PCA/CNA I never call off I always take my cases seriously; calling off the duty is a responsibility of the caregivers I am the Agency go to fill emergency duties. I was an employee of the month last January. As a caregiver, you need a genuine heart, not just the money part.
