As a caregiver this was very heartfelt too watch but it usually happens in the medical field . I’m just going too do my part in making sure I play a very good part in taking good care of my patients in the right way

You're not a care-giver, instead you're a wicked witch! As a witch you can't care about her or anyone else! And that dude was just dumb. He would not speak up to tell her she was wrong for mistreating the lady in the wheelchair.

As a person on the receiving end of home healthcare, it’s scary enough to have to depend on strangers coming into your home to care for you than to have to deal with verbal and physical abuse for no damn reason. Don’t go into the healthcare field if you don’t have the heart for it. You didn’t even know if there were cameras in her home. Thank God I’ve never had to suffer a person like her but I’m sure some others have. It’s terrifying and disgusting! Love the video. Great message!❤❤❤

As a caregiver, one must be careful of you are hiring to care for your love one. Some caregiver, are not good and they only care for money. Hired someone who is caring, loving and have compassion for people. This is very disgraceful and unhealthy behavior. MS great video, crew and amazing job.

I'm a RN and it pained me to watch this. They do know and do find ways to communicate it like when the patient banged her foot on the wheelchair. This caregiver or the horrorgiver was beyond terrible. These patients need the upmost attention and care. They are human beings of God's care. This unfortunately I'm sure does happen. This video should be watched by students going into the medical field. As a RN for 23 years it is very educational to watch. Love everyone equally. ♥️

Anything can happen with in a blink of an eye, that’s why we must treat others the same way we want to be treated, Some caregivers are only there for the money,they care about the person, they are just like this so called caregiver,where is the care,where the empathy and compassion. She shouldn't mistreated anyone else they cannot help it it's very difficult job for anyone who works in a long-term care facility and in homes. I use to work In a long-term care facility for 30 years and it's very rewarding and also and very hard work. People that are paralyzed and can't take care of themselves and sometimes they have accidents in which they can't hold their bladder always be patient with them and one day someone my need to take care of you. They may treat you the same way as we're treated them. Good job

This was hard for me to watch it made me cry because I have seen worse put thank you for this video showing awareness. I can't believe people would do stuff like this it happens tho.

Sadly this happens all the time. I have had friends go through this very thing and it is downright disgraceful. I have even had friends who were robbed. A lot of the time they never even showed up. I had surgery and they wanted me to have a home health aid to come in to help and I told them NO, that I would take care of myself even though I knew I couldn't do a lot. People just can't be trusted anymore, so if you have a loved one who needs care be very careful who you hire or who is sent to take care of them. Even nursing homes are not safe anymore.

If I saw this happening, I’d report it to the proper authorities to have her arrested. I work for IHSS and part of the policy is to report any abuse on a caregivers part and yes I’ll be reporting it as soon as I see it. I’m not tolerating any abuse

Thanks to you guys. Recently, my beloved mum took her final sleep at 100 +. I stayed on top of her care providers who had mistreated seniors, so painfully sad how most are maltreated throughout their last days. Thanks 😊

This is exactly why, I would NEVER!!, put a family member in a care taking business or have a representative of a care taking business come into my home to look after my love one. Lets not forget, they are strangers and the home surroundings maybe something they envy, and will take it out on the patient. That's exactly what happened in this video. The patient was rich and the caretaker was not. Word to the wise, handle your own business by taking care of your own. I digress.

I and My mom used to work in the hospital, this is so heartbreaking to see, I had to take care of my mom and sister,when they were ill, both have passed on now, it is so heart breaking

its sad to see a care giver treating their charge in such a manner. ,but there are some really kind and caring caregivers for they love the people they care for. This is not an easy job

I'm 61 and unfortunately disabled. I don't need a caregiver now, but i needed one 17 years ago after a botched esophageal/stomach surgery and i was in the icu for 11 days. When I came too, my lips were so broke open and bloody, I was in tears. Thank goodness I had my hubby to take care of me, I was very well taken care of by him. My lips took 2 months to heal and I have such deep awful scars that even now when I look in the mirror I tear up 😢😢. Thank God though I didn't have any of these "caretakers" in my life anymore. 11 days of not giving a hoot about their patient (me) was more than enough.

This is the scary part of getting sick. I was sick and needed care at one time for about 2 years I am very independent and it was humbling and very emotional to have to depend on others I was blessed that my people never made me feel like a burden but I felt that way constantly. I can't imagine my😢 mentality if I had someone like this looking after me terrifying

I knew from the beginning that she was a ‘plant’, to report all of the happenings. She couldn’t hold her bladder and had to urinate on herself while being verbally abused. Due to the shortness of these clips, the pieces needed to explain the full story is missing. These should be at least 30 minutes in length. Good job though.

Healthcare should really see this video and take it as an example of how a caregiver should be screened before being given a job caring for a disabled person. If this method of screening is done, the probability of elder abuse or disabled person abuse will drop dramatically.
