Cargo-Transport in the North Sea 

After we have already described the options of transporting cargo by helicopter in detail in our new Cargo-Transport film, we would now like to demonstrate you the process of transporting cargo to an offshore platform in the North Sea - thanks to @hoffmann060172 who regularly provides us with great footage.
Helicopters offer a broad range to transport cargo either outside or inside the helicopter. In general, there are three ways of transporting loads - each with its own advantages. The transport option in the cabin, lifted via the hoist is the most versatile one and allows for the hoisting of the cargo onto a platform, without the helicopter being required to land. This way our helicopters can lift up to 250kg, while being able to transport a maximum of 1,2 kg inside the cabin.
HeliService places the greatest importance on absolute safety, which is why our pilots and hoist operators are highly trained through daily flight operations as well as undergoing regular trainings in the world’s most advanced flight simulators. This way they not only gain a maximum amount of offshore flight experience but are also prepared even for extreme situations at any time.
