Boy, you brought back lots of rememorizes, showing this tour of the market. Every Sunday morning, I would be in the market shopping and after getting what I want, I would buy five doubles.. How come you didn't get any? Anyway, I enjoyed the video. I can't wait to return to Trini..I am home sick now..

i'm so spoiled by the look of oranges in north america that had you not mentioned that's how naturally ripened oranges look i'd have thought they were rotten or gone bad. thank you chris, learn something everyday!

Chris: You look exhausted. Too much feting. Mamie sepot, omg, I have not had them since in the '60s. I was asking for them when I was there. Love it raw and loved to make jam and stewed with sugar.

I wonder how much of this food, is organically grown? I know when people are growing food commercially, there is a lot of pesticide and chemical fertilizer used.

Are these lovely fruit and vegetables conventional or organically grown? Also, I read somewhere that Trinidad's population has a very high rate of obesity, would you say that was true from what you've observed?

that's a farce, trinidadians are not really obese, they're probably talking about per capita ratio, and even then i doubt it. it's only of late where i've noticed a spike in obese young men in trinidad, and thats because a lot of young guys drive cars as opposed to walking. there's also another phenomenon that hit our island where quite a few young people avoid sporting activities and instead sit around and drink all day, and party heavy on the weekends. but most trinis are relatively in good shape.
