For sure, this animation perfectly encapsulates Odysseus’s sheer DETERMINATION to get back to his family

The way he just wants to get home to his family and if he knew that the suitors were going to attack he would be a whole different breed

​@@Shahks this isn't the kraken, the kraken is more like a giant squid monster, and it's not Greek. This is Caribidis, they are a lot like or they are the monster that swallowed Percy Jacksons campmates boat in the movie they retrieve the fleece

Honestly i always find it hilarious, everytime i remember this is his trip going home. Like headed to the war, no issues. But going home, nah he got screwed over.

I like that he sounds young because imagine the older Odysseus putting all his effort, doing something that hasn't been done yet. A nearly impossible mission he has to take all his skills and wisdom and pour every single fiber of his being he has. Power that he lost since his youth. Into this. single. moment. Nothing else matter, not Poseidon not the war, not his friends. It's the two of them going head to head. Odysseus although, for his family can't think about them right. A single moment of hesitation. And one that actually has dynamic action instead of just shots of the main character barely moving, defeating the whole point of animation.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@Sergei_Ivanovich_Mosinanimatics and animations are different. lol this one is way more dynamic but animatics are just rough frames or a storyboard while an animation is the whole shebang..animatics can be used as gateways to animations though !!

@@staeriix I'm aware, what I meant is that a lot of animatic's depict very static scenes where very little happens, every frame is mostly just the character[s] just kinda standing there or pacing around doing next to nothing, which is a shame because the medium allows for extremely expressive scenes.

To be completely fair, it's several years later so of course he got older. I also think it's not much of a problem since it's up to the artist to show how they want to portray him so if they think their Odysseus is a twink then why not.

I thought he hung onto a fig tree until Charybdis finished her whirlpool thing, then when she spit out his broken raft, he hung onto the mast and swam outta there lol

@@missdarling7806 Well as i mentioned before it depends on the version. There are many interpretations of his Myth just like with Hades. In some versions he cheats on Persephone in others he doesnt. Some stories says Hades did indeed kidnap her while others state it was Zeus.

​​@@KaytoShieldstechnically none say it was Zeus, they say Zeus TOLD hades to do it. Also to my knowlage no ACTUAL PROPER versions of the myth have hades cheat ever. Only versions made basically as fanfiction by modern-ish writers have any cheating on hadeses part. Hades never heats on his wife, and in the oldest versions of the myth we have access to ZEUS is the one who gives him the OK to kidnap.

I think the second to last, currently they’ve been releasing their albums every 2 months, but their releases aren’t guaranteed to be consistent, there was a large gap between the second and third for example If I had to guess maybe, if we go by the every 2 months it’d be 8 months? But that’s not a guarantee at all, there’s still the thunder saga that should be coming up next I think, then the suitors? Maybe? Then I think god games, Scylla and Charybdis are second to last and last is Odysseus at home, that might be suitors actually, if you look up ‘all epic the musical sagas’ it should eventually come up, it’d be a short

@@NaknaveWe have the song list, it’s song 33 so probably second to last. I think act 2 is 4 sagas of 5, rather than varying like act 1.
