@@blacksunshine1661 Too many quality legs..Apart from the silver medalist in the flat 400 (Rose with a 46.59 run for carifta silver, he was faster at Champs with a 45.93s PB ), the others were the 1500m gold and silver medalists, the DQed Pinnock from the same 400m final and I need to confirm what Bygrave did (OK, double gold in 800 and 1500 with a 47low 400m PB). The Trini anchor was 4th in the flat event with a 47.23

Lol they found it later because of the errors the officials made in the first final. It wasn’t planned but the felt they had to do it for fairness I guess

@@blacksunshine1661 It was an attempt at fairness, but truly was not completely so. The first set ran without knowing it was a timed final, so unfair advantage to race B. What if the Jam anchor, who was miles ahead, cruised in and ran a slightly slower time? Jam could then claim the gold was robbed, AS THEY DID NOT KNOW time mattered. On the other hand, the 3 teams that stopped running were also massively disadvantaged too. The fairest thing to do was a complete rerun with all teams rested, but as it was the final event of the meet, no chance of that! This shows the significant consequences of officials messing up. We fans were denied a MUCH more competitive race to bring down the house at the Carifta Games. The official could have just noted the Bah lane infringement and at the end of the race, declare a DQ. Then Bah could appeal and perhaps be reinstated, or not, but the race itself would not have been affected. This is normal procedure. The only times I see races stopped is for false starts or people didnt settle properly in the blocks or putting theirs hands up to ask for a time out in order to settle.

What a ridiculous statement! The athletes did nothing wrong. The officials messed up and the countries are absolutely right to protest. It takes nothing away from Jamaica

Trinidad was head on with Jamaica so what did they need more to go faster? This is the kind of ideological ignorance that continues to widen the cracks between the islands. Can't blame Bahamas for it all; here is proof. Protest if you have to, but labeling as you did is senseless. "this is how some of the Caribbean islands behave"? What does that even mean? Cha!

Wasn't rerun....the officials messed up and gun went off awkwardly so those rerun athletes stopped....not their fault the rest of the runners kept running...so it was only fair these ones get chance.
