That was a strategic race ran by the Barbadian. She sat off the pace but close enough to be threatening. And when it mattered most, she switched to the outside for clear run, then closed with a devastating late kick. Well done.

I love this race. When they were grouped until the last lap. Beautiful Caribbean power and story. I saw the Barbados girl a long way coming when she crept up. I love to see our Jamaican athletes challenged. I thought Guyana was going to be the one. Awesome ladies. Wheel and come again Jamaica.
