So I'm in Wyoming, not England, so I live very rurally and the next biggest town is almost 100 miles, and I didn't breed my mare, I rescued her in the condition she's in. How would a birth in the back woods work? And how do I section her off from the other horses, my pasture is huge, like multiple acres, how would that work

I’ve been told that we should not feed our mare fescue hay in the last trimester because it prevents lactation and also thickens amniotic sac (preventing it from opening and suffocating foal). Is there truth to this or is it a myth?
