This man knows how to do it, he has perfect sets, perfect timing, logical and developmental as life itself. Natural flow, doesn't force anything. Emanation of pure power and brilliance.
@stewarty28 Because of your comment I stayed here until the end. Yaaaa. You're right, that reminds me of the Carl Cox I met in the 90s. Ohh yesss oh yess....
He has said himself that he was a raver at the start of it all and wanted to be a DJ and make sure that the party people dance into eternity keeping it that way for the last 30 plus years only time ive stopped in an all nighter is when Go the toilet
He betrayed all he stood for by playing 'vaxxed' only gigs, what was the whole movement about? I raved since 1991 and the message was always unity against the 'elites' Cox is scum.
Woohaa... I have no words for this. I'll be 54 in a few weeks, I've been dancing on his gigs since 1988, and imho Carl Cox is still... the Boss. This is it. And lotsa Filterheadz!! And Tomaz! Leuven city in full motion! CARL... THANKS! 🙂♥
I'm (around) 10 yrs behind you but i know 100% what you mean! how does he do it! we always want fast and hard yet the good old Carl tone does just fine and actually delivers a better hit in the end, i guess it's the patience theory..

Seems like Carl Cox has gone back to what he does best. I saw him a few times in the previous decade...too much ibiza style tech-house for my liking. Now he's playing a sound similar to what originally made him popular.
Charlotte De Witte is my new up and coming DJ for absolute banger sets........However the old school master Carl Cox has blown this one out the water.......cannot wait to hit the gym with this set banging out the head phones!!!!!!
The best DJ, he knows how to play all kinds of electro music, but this techno set is the best. Cox is a true GOAT! When Cox started playing electro music, more than half of today's DJs weren't even born, nor do they know what a gramophone and records are. Cox is No.1
Great set from Carl! What a difference 20-30 years makes... Raves in present time: people on phones, intense model like stares into camera and moving around slightly like flowers in a gentle breeze (sometimes arms in the air) Raves in the 90's: People shuffling, jumping, smiling, chatting, dressed in colour, the smell of talcum powder in the air, all round great vibes.
The crowd does seem a little sedate.... weird. You're right though, 90s was all about throwing shapes, getting fag burns on the arm, shouting in a stranger's ear and gurning your chops off.
1997-2001 Raver here … I’m with you wholeheartedly brotha… these kids have no idea how great the scene used to be… I’ll never stop listening to the greats like Coxy… got PVD rolling thru Dallas in a couple months and I can.not.wait
Used to Go see Carl Cox at a Sunday under ground club in Los Angeles called SKETCHPAD.Back in 1992 with Doc Martin.Christopher Lawrence..and I'm 62 years old...yaaa buddyyy
I think i spotted what's so good in his mixes: he cares a lot about the music AND to make people dance, you feel like he can keep a very high and continuous dance flow using the music as a tool!
Hell Yeah , how massive is this! Dear Carl please keep playing this kind of Sets, one of the best sets this year !! Amazing Amazing Amazing :D ! Major Cox x-D
