back in da day ,1990 , carlcox used to play at some of our rave events across essex , 3 decks and a mixer,, all vinyl , and u could see then , how good he was ,,, and here we are today
I feel young just saw him in 2020 in Houston before the pandemic and just last month again here in Houston and wow he is high energy absolutely had a blast
Was watching in chat with 1000's of others, what a set from the King and GOAT! and what a legendary weekend... PLUR to all my Buddies/Ravers out there!
@@johnbones4017 Just because you don't like a song doesn't mean it's not good. I wouldn't be doing things right either if everyone liked the song. thanks for listening =)

Did something happen to the stage lighting? Was insane during Joseph Capriati. Edit: I think this is just a loop shot on top of his set. The actual stage lighting is pretty nuts. You can see the loop at the bottom left, the person recording with their phone.
I thought I was the only one , I saw him in nyc back in October and I was disappointed, he’s so talented and I felt like he just wasn’t present during the set. He popped in maybe twice the whole set , but besides that , It felt like the music had no soul, I’m not sure how to explain It. It felt empty and shallow. Which is the opposite of what Carl plays like. I was starting to think It was nyc , because after the pandemic , DJ’s have not been playing how they usually do. But now I see It happening in Miami too 🧐🤨 . He’s still a legend , but not his best work …
@@LaRola1697 I think some of it is down to what producers are pushing out right now - maybe a bit too technical / deep for festival stages. But some was Carl’s mixing - he is normally pitch / beat perfect and has brilliant flow to his sets. Here he was making those little mistakes in each mix in hour 1 and overall the set didn’t pay off. But it’s not just him, a lot of Miami sets were very “safe” almost dull.
