@@somemoreplaylists1781 Many children songs are based of old Irish/ Scottish folk music, such as "auld lang syne" - again, of which are heavily constructed around the pentatonic scale. To me, these themes do sound very traditional Chinese - perhaps the western style harmony gives it that Nursery Rhyme feel?
