Carl Hester is a masterful teacher. What I wouldn't give to have even just an hour of instruction from him. Oh I know there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth, but I am sure Carl is professional enough to squeak out a few words to instruct between breakdowns.
@Nembula 2002, I was thinking the same about getting instruction from Carl Hester. Then I read the rest of your comment and actually laughed out loud!!! Like Liz Roberts, above me ^ ^ 😂😂 🙈
How is it that no one is wiping away the white foam all around the horses mouth? & why does no one seem to take notice of the way the horse's mouth is constantly moving like this? It looks uncomfortable yet continues to do what is expected, otherwise. I can't help but wonder what it's a sign of. Did someone put something in its mouth, is it a reaction to the bit - maybe not being comfortable, or is this a sign the horse is sick, ingested something it shouldn't have, or means that it needs water?
BeautifulDancingFreestyle2016 they do not foam at the mouth from being ridden for hours, they foam from the mouth from the bit, youmwant a horse with a wet mouth.
I know that, but just look at the cues on this horse. 1. he is opening and closing his mouth and chewing (as a horse who was overworked who is trying to find relief in his mouth will do) 2. The horse is breathing quite hard 3. excessive foam is so much more than its happy in the bit. excessive foam can lead to a sore mouth...I found this quite interesting until I did some research.
I think the horse is over fussy in his mouth, in other videos when in a snaffle he is not fussing. Carl would be a sympathetic but strong rider and very different to what he, the horse, is use to. Being of a hot temperament this could cause it fussing.
