@@meracle3287 no if it was they would of have to of been quit close to the quarry camp and they would of been far far away from it. Also Jim let himself turn so he would be walking still
Lemon is right it couldn't have been Jim, on the first scene he's practically on the side of the road in the second they're in the middle of the woods.
Rewatching for the first time as well. Crazy the stuff you missed, or forgot the first time around. Agree, killing off Carl was bad. Looking forward to the last season of FTWD. Both got a little crazy the last couple of seasons, but love them both. Dead City is soon too…
@@chungusuI'm currently at season 10 episode 10, and honestly deaths feel like they're entirely just for shock value at this point, keep in mind that I'm ONLY talking about the show since I haven't read the comics, but even Carl's death felt like it had a point in the show, I don't know how it went in the comics, but I the show Carl's death was the reason Rick spared Negan (if I remember correctly), now at season 9 and 10?, deaths are just there to shock you, how could they kill a character like Jesus (who from what I saw online, lived to old age in the comics) in such a stupid way, and how did Alpha manage to lure all those people from the carnival to the barn, and Siddiq's death felt pointless too and really frustrated me. And I fucking hate Lydia, I don't think I hates any character so far as much as her and Henry, this whole thing with the whisperers happened because they decided they're gonna live a fairytale and run away together, and this whole thing could have ended in in episode 10, Lydia found Alpha on the ground, injured and with no way to defend herself, but noooo, I'm gonna let her live because she's my mother who abused me for years and is gonna try to kill everyone. Meanwhile Mary (gamma) had a gun and Beta was motionless on the ground but instead of shooting him in the head she just tries to walk away when he's obviously still alive OR is gonna come back as a walker, but who cares right?, the season still needs 12 more episodes so yeah, let's just make Beta survive. I'm honestly just watching it because I wanna know how it's gonna end (and I'm gonna be really pissed off if someone other than Carol ends up killing Alpha)
Always loved this part, and I'm glad they never tried anything like it again. It was interesting, abnormal, but fit so well with Jim's character. I feel like even though he was only in what, 2 or 3 episodes he had an extremely sad story and a relatively good, fleshed out character.
@@susanriccio5806 obviously not till s11 that would b ridiculous, but it could've worked in other seasons. Besdies the new spinoff show is adding new zombie variants which is something they should've done earlier to spice it up
@@WinWin-gf7fhseries: the walking dead. Even though iam watching right now. Iam on season 4 episode 7. It was soo good i like so much you must have to watch this show. It's so interesting and addictive. 10/10 show ✌️
@@V0X6666 Well if you walked by one you wouldn't know until it was too late because of how they blend into the environment they have been overgrown in.
Yeah kinda agree I mean I hung in to see what was going to happen and I did like the end and all but honestly it would had been so cool seeing him and his sister go on together.
@@Makeremoalno it wasn't, you see any road? And all yall saying it could be overgrown and shit, no the fuck it couldn't, we have left roads for more than a decade and it's not been overgrown, plus he would've gotten up or moved some in that decade.
You do know that all these people are still well and alive right thief not really dead it's just a show, but kinda funny when I think about people sending thoughts and prayers to someone whose actually not dead
@@mahmudazizan1521Dude we all know the actors are alive, notice how we didn’t say any of the actor’s names, we only said the characters’ names for a reason. We are saying Rip to characters who died in the show. Nice try being a smart ass, better luck next time.
@@Kai...999 Technically, he’s already dead. And walkers are walkers, they can’t feel anything anymore. They don’t think. They aren’t the original host of the body.
@@PugilistCactus it wasn’t “5 years” in the show nor even during filming how stupid can you be ? This was 3 years barely after jim died you dope. And it is NOT him even it was “5 years down the line🤓” lmfao. This was at the prison in the woods. Ye jim definitely just walked his ass all the way there and then said Yk what ima chill on another tree. Most definitely right. Cuz Yk “twd lacks attention to detail 🤓” seriously how much of afagot can you be🤡💀
Even though that isn’t Jim, because they are in a completely different place than where they placed him, like quite far away, and Jim was placed on the side of the road, and this is in the woods a ways, You can definitely tell that carl remembered Jim from this walker because it does look a lot like Jim if I’m being honest, and the way it’s sitting is exactly the way Jim was sitting and you can just tell by the look on carls face that he remembers him which is a really sweet.
I agree with you, that’s not Jim , he had a beard and the zombie doesn’t have a beard. And Jim was left pretty close to the road, the zombie is in a wooded area, no road in this scenery. But brought flash backs, memories of Jim.
@@SirCitrus_VR Actually you can call it both. But the most used and argueably correct term is suppressor because it "suppresses" the sound of the shot it doesnt "silence" it.
That walker is not Jim. If you can see it, there is a log that split the walker's body in half. Jim didn't die that way. Also, the group (from season one) left Jim on the side of the road, and Carl finds that walker in the middle of the woods.
@@ZaneBrobst that doesn't even make sense moron. And you're wrong the title clearly implies that they're saying it's Jim tied to the tree but it isn't like OP said.
You don’t know if the log came down after they separated, wich may be the case. Also, many years have passed since they left him there, and no maintanance on eighter buildings or roads makes it possible for grass and trees to grow freely. So your argument is kinda right - but also kinda wrong…
@@Halokby as a walker the only thing stopping from getting up is not having legs and Jim had legs when he died so he would’ve gotten up the second he turned
EDIT: thanks for the likes and the comments really helps. if yall are wondering this isn't the original Jim, Carl had a flashback from when they had to leave Jim when he saw the rotting walker against the tree behind the prison, this is because the location there are in this season is far from the season from where they left Jim. But it is still sad to think about.0
@@tylergamerphung Jim was bit, and wanted to be left behind, so they left him propped up against a tree. Carl seeing that Walker, suddenly made him remember that day.
I make the argument that the group from first season could’ve made it till the commonwealth arc. But then again, people don’t think the characters were smart enough when they proved otherwise at many points in the story.
@@diazostreta4473 They all had the potential to, yes. But, not one character could've made it to the end if they didnt lose people in season 1. They wouldn't have learnt the lessons that they needed to
Rick should have died but unfortunately he doesn't want to play this tv series anymore and Carl is also made to die, gosh it's approaching season 10, 11 this show has decreased story
@@bryce1029 no he didn’t. He bought a house close to set so he could always be close and they axed him because he turned 18 and would get an adult contract that they didn’t want to pay
Imagine how much this hurts, you don't even get to see him rest in peace, instead you see his painfully rotted corpse reach out to you just because he wants to eat you, and the only way for him to rest in peace is if you kill him again with your own hands.
@@Zachmccuistion Huh? My understanding is he was fired half over a pay dispute, half because they REALLY wanted an excuse not to do the “Whisperers” arch anywhere near like the books, as it later makes their leader, a (former) collage feminist professor, look absolutely evil in how she thinks sex is the only way to control men in a survival situation. The book version simply doesn’t work without Carl, but it also meant that there was no veering back to the books again if they ran out of ideas, as they had been able to do up until then.
He wanted to go to college and was debating staying on the show to do school. When he said no ibwant to stay they said to late we already wrote you off.... wish he had gotten a spin off.
Jim the Walker would not have stayed by the tree by the Hwy. But since it was both his last live and then first "dead" memory, maybe he was attracted to tree's when dormant? 🤔
@@TenNineD but the zombie’s position by the tree seems to have triggered a memory of Jim in Carl which is what’s important. Adds some depth to their relationship, maybe Carl looked up to Jim. Adds some depth to the times in the camp we didn’t get to see
