I think it was either Gary or Simon- if it was Simon that would be a huge twist. It can’t be Carla or peter cause they’ve got their own problems to worry about🥺
Carla doesn’t really seem all that bothered that Peter is out there casually trying to drink himself to DEATH? I hate the way her character is being written at the moment, I really do.
Thank you! I feel exactly the same way. The street has a couple of new writers in the writers room, who have been working on the Peter and Carla scenes this year - and the drop in quality since last year is very noticeable. Carla in particular has none of the strength or charm, and the writers just can't decide what to do with both characters.
@@actornwriter I didn’t know that about the writers, but that would certainly explain a lot. I’m just finding Carla really hard to sympathise with at the moment. There’s just a lack of vulnerability and depth to her right now. Like I said, she didn’t even seem that phased that she’d broken Peter’s heart and ripped his family apart in the process. Or that he was out wandering the streets in the middle of winter, attempting to kill himself, basically. Perhaps she’s being written so coldly to make her a viable suspect in this silly Adam whodunnit, but I really hope they remember who Carla really is soon.
@Abbie Hazel Florence Hunter He managed to stop for those 4+ years he wasn’t with Carla though. The moment he got back together with her was when his problems began again. I hate that they’ve chosen to write it that way, with their relationship being so destructive and unhealthy, but that seems to be the message they’re choosing to send to viewers.
