Carlisle Ford Nationals 2022 was AWESOME!!

Dad and I road tripped Carl to ‪@Carlisle_Events‬ Ford Nationals and it was SO GREAT! We saw lots of amazing cars, met more Falcon friends, and shopped for TONS of car parts and tools! We even got to be in the parade into downtown Carlisle!
If you haven't been to Carlisle Ford Nationals, make plans to come out next year!

A couple of years of really hard work paying off. The car culture is fun when friends and family are involved with you. Were so glad you enjoyed the Ford Nationals again. I was there on Friday. It was a great Ford show. As the sign at Gate 1 says, it is the Largest All Ford event in the world! I will look forward to seeing you and Carl next year.

I am not sure what is the best part: "Dad... stop it!" as dad revs Carl again. Or the sticker on dad's forehead. Or the grand parents being there for y'all... Yes! You would look good in a late 50s - early 60s F-100 truck

I’ve enjoyed watching you and ya dad work on Carl. At 2:00 . A set of extractors/headers and a dual 2” exhaust system , and it’ll sound awesome. Trust me , do it. I’ve done it to 2 of my falcons here in Australia 🤙🏼🇦🇺

Carl sounds great! I'm over the loud and obnoxious exhausts. They sound cool for a little while but are awful on road trips, or if you are trying to carry on a conversation with passengers...

Ellie and Matt.....thanks for taking us all along to Ford Nationals with you. Carl is looking amazing! I loved when Matt was revving Carl's engine and Ellie was getting so embarrassed. At least when Carl is revved up, you can actually hear some sound from the tail pipe. I drive a 2012 Chevy Sonic with a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder, and when I rev it up....it sounds like a hair dryer with a speech impediment!!! I have watched a number of videos taken at Ford Nats 2022, and I always kept my eye open to see if Carl would make an appearance. And in deed, he did get into one of them. At the 10:30ish minute mark of the video, there was a one-of-a-kind, priceless and never going to be duplicated 1965 Ford Falcon Futura 4-door in Neptune Green. Car shows are usually fun. Never understood why there are always so many of these "less than 10 years old Mustangs" taking space in these events, though. "I put stripes on my 2016 stock Ford. Look at me!" Come on, guys ;)

AGREED! I went to a local annual car show today, and I told my girlfriend there shouldn't be new cars here. Car shows are meant to get feedback for the time and energy you stick into your project. Bringing a new car to car show is just showing off your money.

Awesome work getting Carl ready for the show. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that revs an inline 6. My '65 Econoline pickup has a pretty nasty snarl when you tap the go pedal though. Keep up the good work.

Looks like you had a great time, Carl is looking really good, the after-parade shots I saw a few cars I used to own back in the day. Can't wait until I get time to finish my mustang and go to the event.
