Carlito got shot by a fashion gangster from the Bronx for trying to wear a full-length leather jacket on a train going to Miami. 😂😂😂

That sequence is an awesome display of filmmaking.

I always had the impression this was a late '70s movie. However, there are '90s era security cameras all over the place. Also, that model Beretta looks to be a 92 model and those were not around much in the '70s, if at all.

Why does DePalma have this fascination with having some giant fat guy in a lot of his movies. You got this movie, Scarface had some big guys and that movie he did with Captain Lou Albano. Whatever that was called, Albano was a huge guy.

Al Pacino is so cool in this one and I'm a heterosexual guy! 😂

Something here, the way he runs trough the people almost unnoticed, makes me think De Palma wanted to be clear Carlito was just a little ex-gangster, not a top name

This movie was ignored by the public because they didn't hit all the familiar notes. I think this is exactly why it's great. Morons just want to see the same movie over and over again :(

If he walks to the entrance to Grand Central and not run, they probably miss him altogether. He ran which got their attention and then it was on from there. It's probably the dumbest of dumb lucks that the fat guy happens to stroll by right as Carlito's slipping past the others on the escalator. In the end though, Carlito was done in by his own hubris and inability to read the room properly. If he only took Sasso at face value who warned him ole boy was janky and not to be trusted, he probably escapes clean. Instead, ole boy leads Benny Blanco From Da Bronx right to him and Benny pretty smartly I might add, leaves him lying right there. Cause anyone that janky, can't be trusted to not do the same thing to you given the chance.
