I've just got the carlock system (basic model) and the vibration sensor isn't very sensitive. I brought this additional unit and paired it. I put it in the drivers door pocket (seems obvious that this is the best place!) and it's much more sensitive and detects opening the door! I had to open and close the passenger door to set the alarm off, same goes for the rear cargo door - I have a 4x4 vehicle. If your van has a seperate load area (with a solid bulkhead between the seats and cargo area then you might need an additional sensor. Depends how heavy handed the thieves are!? So in a nutshell this sensor gives more protection. Buy one sensor and test it. If you are still not happy then add another sensor to improve it. Luckily I can seem to get away with just the one sensor. It is a worthwhile upgrade for me 😉
@@christophermcquaigue9128 I ended up adding 3 sensors, one drivers side, one passenger, and one on back doors, and I’m happy with it. It can be a bit sensitive if a large vehicle drives close by it and shakes it but I don’t have to worry about that too much since I’m normally not parked on a busy street.
Pathetic instructions... The app registration requires an access code. There's no card with my vibration sensor purchase with an access code. I went to the website, it says the first 10 letters and numbers are the serial and the remaining 8 numbers are the access code. I scanned the QR code on the device itself, but there are not 8 numbers after the other 10 letters and numbers. I just sent a message to support. This is really frustrating. You have no video instruction on registration of the app. There was no card with the product with the access code on it . I can't register with the app so I can't use the device. Common...I just read an Amazon bad review on the product page from someone who is having the exact same problem as me. If I don't hear from tech support in the next hour and get this resolved I'm returning the product and am going to write a horrible one star review. Obviously, you all are aware of this problem and haven't created a customer user friendly way to get registered with the app for the vibration sensor product. I'm really upset.

Is there a chance you purchased only the Vibration sensor and you don't have a main CarLock device (OBD or Hardwired) yet? The activation card is only included in the box of the main unit. The Vibration sensor is an add-on and it can't be used without the main CarLock device.
