Long ago, i saw Quiet Riot at a bar in Roanoke,Va, i enjoyed the show very much. Im a lifelong fan of rock music too. After the show,i remember trying to get an autograph from band on the bus. Carlos, you were the only one nice to me. ☺️I recall Frankie Banali rudely asking me to basically get together with Kevin Dubrow. I was there for an autograph. 😔 I got off bus quickly, but i do recall Carlos trying to defend me, saying to frankie that wasnt necessary. So thanks Carlos, some of us girls are serious music fans. Despite my experience, i still listen to quiet riot. 🎤🎸🎼🎶
I saw that concert in New haven ct. Idk that I'd say they blew sabbath off the stage but they were fantastic. In fact I consider that to be the single best live performance I've ever seen. They had wall to wall double Marshall stacks as a backdrop, that's it. Carlos was great. They all were. Sabbath was amazing too. Good times. I've been a quiet riot fan ever since.
Just as a fan I would say Carlos and Rudy would be people I’d love to hang out with back in the day but Kevin and Frankie did not seem as friendly. One year around Thanksgiving I went to a QR show and saw the guys up close. Rudy and Carlos were very friendly and seemed nice while Kevin and Frankie were not as warm and cordial. Maybe it was the road or that was their personality.
