He had tremendous batting power for a pitcher. Really good hitter overall. When he was pitching the Cubs really didn't have a pitcher spot in line up when he batted. To bad he was a head case
Lol negative. He was a helluva pitcher who had to will his team because more than half the games he pitched he couldn't muster any run support. Amazing he led the NL in wins (or at least top five) during the decade between 2000-2009. Awesome hitter for a pitcher. The closest thing to Shohei Ohtani before he took the league by storm.
