@solyko77: Baal ma waye ... no offense, but please give Wolof some respect. It is ALSO a written language, with textbooks, dictionaries, grammars, literature, a Wikipedia site. Microsoft Windows is available in Wolof. In Seneweb forums, people are using Wolof in everyday writing. The colonizers called African languages "dialects" just so they could be disregarded - but change is underway, and Wolof will probably become the official language within 10 years or so.
