First time using my brand new 7015 and obviously need a little practice either the remote. Bogged down the motor twice but should get this thing down pretty quick. Much more power and way faster than my Vermeer sc 362
I've been a professional stump grinding contractor for over 23 years great machine but your moving the swing arm too quickly which will result in damage ,you will destroy the cutting teeth ,stress on pumps and any belts but this machine probably has direct drive Slow down and let the machine do the work
The whole time he was running this machine,I thinking Why is he going so fast....you hit stone ,or rock ..you have done a lot of damage by that time....
THIS MACHINE HAS 2 BELTS, 1 GOING FROM THE ENGINE TO THE GEAR BOX AND THE SECOND CALLED A POLLY CHAIN OR TIMMING BELT GOING FROM GEAR BOX TO CUTTER HEAD. SLOW DOWN THE SWING ARM SWING RATE BY BACKING OFF THE HYDRAULIC FLOW TO THE SWING CYLINDERS. ALSO WHY GREEN TEETH? THE REVOLUTION WHEEL IS MUCH BETTER.
Beautiful machine. Slow down a little. Hate to spend all that money and break it. They are not meant to run that fast on the swing arm. Just a suggestion.
Yea you are 100% right! I had to adjust the hydraulics with the swing speed and now its running perfect! Thanks for tuning in friend! Are you in the industry as well?
So we do provide removal services. It’s basically an upsell where we would bring out my skid steer or mini skid steer and a dump trailer and load and haul to the landfill. Great way to make some extra money on jobs and customers love it and prefer it! Hope this helps and thanks for tuning in friend!
I can do that stump with my toro 13 stump grinder and charge even more money with less expense . You can fit this machine where I’ve been able to do stumps .
So I bought this machine brand new in 2020 for $78,000 they have since gone up drastically! I’m pretty sure they are in the $85,000-$90,000 range right now. Awesome machine and investment! I’ll probably have this machine forever! Thanks for tuning in friend!
Yea they have gone way up since I bought mine! I got mine for $78,000 in 2020 and they just keep getting more expensive but overall a great investment!
Gotta slow down brother. Not a race. Swinging too fast. You can hear the unit struggling to do its job. It'll prematurely wear the equipment out. Beautiful machine. Enjoy.
Yea I’ve learned a whole lot about this machine the more hours I’ve put on it! Definitely a learning curve using a remote rather than a normal lever grinder (my last machine was a gas powered Vermeer sc362) but I’ve definitely slowed it down and definitely still blast out stumps. Thanks for tuning in friend!
These are green teeth. They came with the machine from the factory. Definitely want to upgrade my cutting wheel down the road though! Are you in the industry also?
