Carly has a yearly subscription fee, they auto enroll you (~$100), see the fine print. There are many good if not better options available that do not require a yearly subscription at a lower cost, same functionality.

Carly is a ripoff! Do not buy. They will charge you an unspecified "annual fee" of $175 then claim that they cannot refund it because you didn’t submit the cancellation one month before your "subscription" ended. What subscription? Oh, they bury that in the terms and conditions and don’t even tell you how much it is going to be. To find out, they direct you to a link that has no amounts and just puts you into a loop. Don't let them steal your money! Run away! Their customer service sucks.
The only trouble I have had with this is after changing the coding on the locks, they stopped working! I tried to put them back as they were but they still don’t work now
Hey Joe, before you coded the lock set up, the adapter would have made a back up of your car settings and you should be able to restore the setting back to that. I’m assuming you’ve tried this?

Hey, appreciate it! No it won’t avoid warranties on cars, totally safe device to use and it creates a back up every time you go to change something on your car. Hey, I’m not sure to be honest. I would think you could plug in the new light and then reset the codes via the adapter. But there is no guarantee until you try it. I also need a left hand side light too! My light is playing up 😂

Hey, thanks for purchasing and using my code! If you’ve bought the scanner with the 12 months subscription, then you should be okay. You need to check if you have “all car brands” within your subscription. If not, then you need to upgrade. It’s not a lot from what I remember. But Then you can use it on pretty much any car! 👍🏼

Hey Joseph, thanks for reaching out. To be honest this is quite technical and I don’t want to lead you one way and then it doesn’t work. You can contact Carly directly to ask them about the lighting? And don’t worry about what Tommy said, all you need to do is go on their website, type in your plate and it’ll tell you if it will work on your car. I can tell you right now that it will work on your car. And yes you have to buy the yearly subscription and turn off auto renew. I’ve had this product for years now and can only speak highly of it. I don’t think Tommy read their website before he purchased it 🤷🏻♂️ hope this helps and there is countless amount of things you can do with Carly!

@@jojrsweat1234 haha I agree with you 😂 this scanner does make finding issues with your car much easier. Some you can fix yourself or some that you may have to give the garage, but at least you can have an insight beforehand. Also lots of cool coding/modifications. Great little tool and not too expensive. Thanks as well! 😊
I’ve ordered one before seeing this video so am not a hater however you lost me at not explain the subscription costs more for all cars not just one brand, promoting the no seat belt wearing, saying it’ll save you hundreds a year in diagnostics etc Most garages will plug a decent scanner in for free to tell you what’s wrong it’s the repairs they charge you for. It does help you know what’s wrong so a garage can’t lie to you. I realise you got it for free to promote it but your integrity is questionable as you’re a little too effusive or possibly naive.
BUYER BEWARE: If you are considering using Carly, DON'T. If you know that is what you want and you are sure it will work with your vehicle, then buy it. When you do buy access to the software and it does not work, Carly WILL NOT refund regardless of how long you had the license, be it hours or days. Also be warned the license auto renews whether you want it or not.
