Carly I’m past 29 I’ve been married and divorced twice the first time about killed me. Second time was harder bc I blamed myself and finally at 4 years ago I met by best friend and love of my life I didn’t want to get married I was scared of failing we will be married 2 years in may and we have a beautiful blended family. It does get better work on loving yourself no matter what stage of life you are in and it will be ok. And it’s never a mistake if it taught you something

Oh 29. Finding my favorite uncle had terminal cancer. For you girls who are 29 and 30, don't feel bad if you haven't found anyone or don't have children. I just turned 42 and haven't found someone. A few months into 30 I found I can never have children and my uncle died a few months later. Enjoy every day you have with those you love. Embrace your skills, talents and try those things you didn't think you could. Love could be just around the corner.

Get an education, career, and have your own place before you start down that road... Mature and be sure of yourself in your decision-making. Save yourself from the heartache caused by rash decisions. Also - don't do something just because you think everyone else your age is doing it! Don't follow what you think *society* says you should do, or your parents, or any other 'influence'... Don't have a preset "timeline" for your life! So don't get married cause all your friends are and don't decide you have to be married by age 20, 25, or 30, life doesn't work that way and you'll only end up disappointed & sabotaging yourself. Any 30+ year olds feel deeply connected to this song ?? I'm 32. Recently decided to go no contact with my adopted family. I feel so lost. Like a little girl waiting for her mom to come home but knowing deep down she never will. And not really having any long term friends to lean on. Its just me and my 4 small kids and my husband. But I don't talk about it with him because I feel its too heavy for anyone. Everyday I feel like I'm barely making it.

Your right, 29 is a good age to grow up. I grew up at 14. I was a woman before I knew it. By the time I was 29, been married and divorced. I had a little baby boy to raise. I had a mis carriage and found out had stage 4 cancer. I could not have any more babies, which changed me forever. So at 29 I had a choice, be a mom and do the best I could be.

I randomly found this song on Spotify. It sounds so true for me Lol. I’ve recently turned 29. Haven’t been able to achieve something concrete in both relationship and career due to conflicting desires. In the meantime, my health deteriorated. And now suddenly feel like the wall is closing in. I’ve realized that I’ll have to say yes to a lot of things and people even though I don’t want to. If any teenager reading my comment, please make health and money your biggest priorities. You can live without love and friendship, but you can’t survive without good health and financial freedom.

This song does hit home. I'm 29 and I'll be 30 in August. Out of my mother's 4 kids I'm the only one without kids of my own. I sometimes feel like life really is passing me by. Gave up a good comfortable life to move closer to my family, but that didn't turn out to well. So having to start all over is hard. But life ain't fair, and it kicks you when you're down.
