7 years ago in 2012 Carly Rae Jepsen released a song called Call Me Maybe which became her biggest and only major hit song in her career but her popularity was short lived and nowadays she's only remembered for that song and pretty much nothing else.

Its her management sadly. Emotion could have been a grammy worthy win. Even much better than Taylor's 1989. Had it been "Marketed better". Especially with her management leading on the album with "I really like you" as the main single. It looked right it was heading the direction call me maybe went. Thats why people didn't gone further to emotion. Hence, applying the call me maybe attitude to the whole album which sucks.

Her songs remind me of the 80s. I love her. I think Call Me Maybe may have been popular but it wasn't her best. People need to know her through her other songs to trult appreciate her value as an artist.
