I was with my boyfriend for 6 years until we got married. I remember listening to her songs when he told me he cheated on me and it helped me get through it all. I remember when I finally got tired of feeling sorry for myself and remembering that I’m better than that feeling, that I wanted to finally start living for myself again and as luck would have it, this song crept up on my “auto play” song list and I remember feeling a fire inside me when I heard this song. I’m divorced now but, during my divorce, I managed to finish school while working part time and get my bachelor degree despite the lack of moral support and ridicule from some family members for my area of study and found someone new. I’m much happier now needless to say. :)

I'm crying with happiness and sadness with this song in the middle of 2020.

This was after Call Me Maybe, and I liked this era because of the fact that these are the Carly Rae Jepsen songs you only heard a few times, forgot about them and then listened to them later and actually liked them better than the ones that get more attention. It's like that with everything.

One of the songs that I never got tired to listen to. I could feel the nostalgia.

The pace of this song is so good. As the song starts it's a steady increase in emotion until the last chorus approaches and all hell breaks loose and the power peaks and then it's a welcomed sudden drop to end the song. It such a ride!

Carly is the most underrated artist to come out in the last seven years. It's sad because her voice is beautiful and her songs are catchy. Her albums have been great. I'm glad Carly has a loyal fan base. Edit: The loveliest Time is fantastic!

I personally think we should all saying how “underrated” she and just appreciate that she enjoys making music. She puts so much passion and love, and as long as she’s happy with what she’s producing, and we as the viewers love it as much as she do, I doubt it bothers her.
