That's odd. I saw this in " Greenwich Village ". Especially since there were reaction shots of Don Ameche and William Bendix ( who were in that movie).
OK. Then, how about putting it this way. According to IMDB, the number would have been filmed for & inserted in (but disregarded), "Springtime in the Rockies" (1942) and then reconsidered to be in "Greenwich Village" (1944) as it was. But, according to Carmen's biographer, Brazilian writer Ruy Castro, the number had also been considered to be in "The Gang's All Here" (1943) - in between. Just thought fans of Carmen would like to have their attention drawn to all this. What do you think?
