oh man, Carmilla has so much game HARLP I really like the direction this web series is taking. usually le fanu remakes (& vampire lit/movies) follow a certain model where the vampire is introduced, ascertained as evil, & taken down by the authoritative van helsing or victim's male love interest. to see a little more care placed on the character is carmilla, & to have an all-ladies main cast has been so refreshing.

"Explain to me again how offering yourself as bait to your bloodsucking roommate is not the worst plan ever devised by womankind.” -- I love Danny so much I literally can't stand it. How is she so great /all the time/? Laura practicing her seduction skills was so adorable I can't handle it. Laura Hollis Defense Squad 2014. And also Laura just being so overwhelmed at Carmilla's seduction. She was Not Prepared. But dang if Carmilla isn't the smoothest I've ever seen. Some playful teasing+talking about the stars/philosophy+candlelight+bedroom eyes. And then "I think I might like that very much" Carmilla pls. Seriously, Carmilla is such a smooth operator. How is it even possible to have that much game. (And the fact that she can maintain that smoothness despite her Big Gay Crush on Laura that can be seen from outer space is just. Even more impressive, tbh.)

Carmilla's voice is just swoon worthy! She is so smitten by Laura who is such an adorable dork, so can't blame her. I noticed a puff of smoke around 2:50 unless Im seeing things did Carmilla just transform from (if following the books) her cat form? She appeared out of nowhere.

Laura, is not what would Mina Harker'd do, Is what Buffy would do. If you're planning on taking down a vampire you might get a few tips from an actual vampire slayer, not someone who had to be protected practically the entire book. Also, Carmilla's voice

So, i read the book before even knowing that this series existed, so I just watched all the episodes at once because I love this story so much. And, seriously, Carmilla and Laura is the most beautiful ship ever and I love it. It's not that I don't like Danny (i want her for myself), but those two are just so perfect. You know, besides all the "killing young girls" stuff, Carmilla is really an amazing ans sweet character. Maybe it's just me, but I would love to see them have something before - ugh - carmilla is set on fire or something. Simply loving this show

That smoke effect was perfect! It blended in well, looked realistic and not like the overly fake ones used in some B type shows; like in Every Witch Way. And the casts' acting is great! I'm enjoying this very much. Finished all uploaded episodes today (8-10pm) and am now going through it for a second time.

In Mina Harker's defense, the men in the novel left her alone to hang out with Renfield, giving Dracula free rein to enter and try to transform her. But she played her part when they chased him back to his castle. She avenged her friend Lucy just like Laura is doing.

No, Mina Harker would totally try and protect her friends from getting bitten. And even when she was bitten through no fault of her own, she would tell Van Helsing to hypnotise her so they could track the evil vampire. Because Mina Harker is clever and amazing. Let me say this again: Mina Harker is AMAZING.
