Can we discuss the fact that that braid design in Laura's hair was PROBABLY woven by Carmilla? I'm imagining Laura sitting there doing her lit paper and Carm peacefully lounging behind her, fingers forming her locks into an intricate design.

I actually paused the episode when Carmilla stood up and watched it from the beginning because I thought they were going to kiss AND I JUST WASN'T READY. And then Laura got possessed. THE LOOK IN CARMILLA'S FACE. Like a mix of "Holy shit", heartbreak, fear for Laura and an irrational fear of her mother. I almost cried.

Exactly if she cant discuss it with the professor how is Danny supposed to justify giving her an extension. Being a TA is her job she cant just give, or seem like, she is giving special treatment.

In my experience a lot of students are more comfortable talking to TAs about personal problems than they are with professors (I know I was) and TAs can usually give students an extension up to a point. I don't think Laura was trying to use Danny, I think she was reasonably asking for an extension from her TA. Their history makes it complicated, but not unreasonable at all. Of course Danny has a right to feel upset, but I also think she was being unreasonable in not putting on her TA hat instead of her sort-of-ex-girlfriend hat.

I put myself in Danny's shoes and honestly, I don't blame her. She must've been expecting Laura to say sorry (or I really miss you XD) and say something to make up with her. But then all she got was, "can I have an extension on my lit paper?" we can tell that she has a crush on Laura too. AmIright? :D

the saddest part is that when you watch the very beginning of this episode when Laura puts on the necklace @0:16 she smiles and looks over to Carmilla (when she isn't paying attention) with puppy-dog-eyes and an expression that reads: "awww, Carmilla got me a gift/another protective charm! im gonna put it on right away!!"

Buffy reference is the Sumerian book that they keep using. Goes back to Season 6, Ep 21 "Two to Go". The days of "Dark Willow". Anya pulls out a Sumerian book for anti-magic spells and info.

It's so silly to add a reply to a 3 year old comment, but I can't not! There is no indication that Perry was with LaF in the hall(although I wouldn't be surprised if Perry never left their sight). So Danny was definitely referring to just LaF when she said "them", considering she was explaining how she knew about them going missing. It would have been them regardless of whether Perry was there. And I'm pretty confident that this was the writer's intent for this line. So you were absolutely right to have been psyched about that! Why do people have to try to be buzz kills and pronoun-splainers?

It would have to be another bite-mark wouldn't it (Or an accident at the library) ? After Laura was bitten the first time there was only one puncture mark (which ties in with the book where the wandering-salesman points out Carmilla's single pointed tooth) and she ended up with one bandaid. Plus, no mouth in the world is that wide! XD

I was surprised when Laura says, "I know you're not just doing it for me..." and Carm replied, "of course i'm doing it for you..." The honesty just surprised me. I didn't think it was a bad thing, just half expected with Carms, not caring attitude, for her to have a brush off. And Elise standing up at the end when she's pretending to be The Dean, excellent acting and use of her body in just that standing up motion. To be acting like someone unconscious, but becomes alive by being possessed isn't an easy task for someone to portray...props up to her for that fluid motion.

This episode was by far one of my favorites, if not my new favorite. Danny using the correct pronouns for Laf, Carmilla's sassy eye roll when Danny came in (ALL her sass this episode really), the emotional acting was phenominal, and I really want to applaud Elise for that switch into being Mother. Her body language for such a powerful being was flawless as was that 'transition'. Amazing episode, so well done

Danny's kind of beginning to annoy me. Under normal circumstances, her reactions to how things panned out would be totally normal, but she was being pretty unreasonable given what was going on and how Laura got justifiably mad at her the last time they talked. I hope there's a turn around soon though.

1st rule of living with a vampire, NEVER TOUCH THEIR STUFF, even though technically it wasnt Carmilla's. Laura still thought it was hers, she should've learned from the whole BLOOD/MILK in her cereal. and btws that whole carmilla "oh course im doing this for you" like OMG! ITS ALMOST CANON GUYS!

So, a few points I'd like to mention about this episode... -How far apart are Carmilla's fangs? :) -Poor Danny, she looked so sad and hurt, but still love-struck (starting at about 1:21) -Carmilla's expressions (I love how she moves her eyes and eyebrows) :) -Heh, Holy Hand Granade of Antioch ("would be perfect for an influx of monstrous rabbits") BAHAHAHA -Nice touch (pun intended) having the necklace activate only *after* Carmilla touched it -J.P.'s frantic search: Who you gonna call?? :) And the best line fo the episode (for me and a lot of people, I imagine): -Don't be an idiot! Of course I'm doing it for you. *sigh* So close! :)

Danny's back! Danny left again :'(. Tho towards the end there when carmilla was moving towards Laura I was o shit they're totes gonna go for it. Then of course Silas stuff happens... Argh I can't with these short episodes and we only have like 5 left til the season's over! My emotions!!! D:

Aww man I can't wait until Tuesday! Oh I hope Mummy Vamp didn't hear all that about the sword and Carmilla going to go get it otherwise they're going to be in trouble. It was nice to see Danny again but urghh heartbreaking, I wish she and Laura would make-up soon already. Also that neck crick was awesome and so very creepy.
