I love how people still try it when they see cars which are literally broken down (likely fked) from going through the flood. If your in a truck or a 4x4 fair enough (when its just smaller cars broken down) but seeing Hyundai i10's and Aygos etc still risk it is shocking.

depends how bad it got it I guess, if the engine stalled and they didn't suck up too much, there's a chance a good clean out and filter change will do it, then again, those panda's are a dime a dozen and engines can be had relatively cheap. Being a 2010 / 2011 that will be an eco model meaning its got the cheaper £35 a year road tax and are quite desirable.

Not Sandon Road again! Had my feet wet there more than once, it's about time those gulleys in that dip were sorted out it's criminal! Mind you most of them are locals so you'd have thought they'd have got the gist of it by now!

@@GDBRescueandrecovery haha typical council then waiting for a big problem instead of acting early on and saving a lot of hassle 🤣 I don’t think I would have braved that puddle but then again I tend to rely on the council or police to close the road if it’s really bad, luckily they are pretty on the ball here in west wales but we do have a LOT of heavy rain here on the coast so it’s normal 🙈🤣

Yes the council don't invest in certain things like cleaning drains never mind what they did and do know it's gone done hill hey has Greg found me a beautiful ford cargo 0813 or Bedford tl underlift uve got the best transit with extra wheelbase BCos u have a rare one there Greg BCos which u know if u lift anything heavy with the old transits the front use to lift but hey ho u got what u wanted is a proper truck with a low lift bed picks up anything pal Greg wise but plz give a shout out for Sleaford recovery top man like Greg we all start from the bottom ❤❤❤❤

There's no sand on Sandon Road. Although as it is so prone to flooding. Then it could be changed by sending in emails to the council. To request a more appropriate name of Wateron Road. 😉

3yrs ago, on my way home, there was a flash flood on an underpass under the A19. the traffic lights all turned to red, everybody just stopped in the floodwater that was rising very quickly !!! i bumped over the high kerb, drove along the path, then nailed it diagonally up the grass embankment, slowly sliding down into the water my focus 18 diesel started coughing just as i hit dry tarmac, kept my foot in - made it !!! i changed my air filter a few weeks later, full of sticks + bog paper, oops... 17 cars made it onto the local telly, all flooded to the roofs, but no. 18 made it home... not on my watch thanks...

Too right! That's the way to do it. To stop more muppets driving through it. Also as Greg is working the scene he is entitled to make the scene safe. Traffic is like water & will always find a way through somewhere. So it needs to be blocked off properly.

Many moons ago i was sent to recover a mini that was on a road next to the river Thames in London....all i could see was the roof so job declined much to the anoyance of the owner
