I don't think I will ever get around to doing it but had an idea for a Nissan XFN (XF falcon ute) with a turbo RB in it The way Nissan should have made it!

What a ripper project boys. A V8 commodore that's not a V8 commodore. Badge engineering it to the enth degree! Would love to see it cammed, wearing a holley plenum top on a skid factory manifold, and sporting a GTW3884 👌🏻 Being a wagon makes it a POIFECT drag challenge rig.

She's a vr with the side trim moved up and different front bar with statesman like wiring for the indicators, headlights and Parker's she's a beast loved my vr wagon with the bullet proof Buick this build is gonna be awesome mate 👍

You can tell it’s not an old commodore the roof lining is not falling down I expected a lot less kms since it is in such good condition Is Telfo projecting his inner zz top dude 😍👍👍

I'm not a mechanic but from what I've seen a set of cams (Kelford do a decent set) and a change of intake really wakes these engines up. The factory intake has long runners kind of like the factory 304 intakes. The guys at the Skid Factory did a modified Holley hi ram or something like that. It's going to be a bit pricey but I reckon would be worth it. Would make all the right cammed up V8 sounds but it's still 100% Toyota. Also want to see that ad remade later on with Scotty, Kian and Telfo haha. As for a name. The Flexcen? Since your gonna be flexing on all those poor V6 Lexcen owners lol.

Bought a new VN Lexcen Berlina equivalent cause my Toyota dealer gave me a deal I couldn’t resist, and I am a Holden man. Can’t remember all the details but it had a couple small differences. Swapped the mags out for a size up, spoiler on the back, tinted the glass and fitted a big car phone into the centre console, put the obligatory chrome tail piece, fitted heavier duty shocks all round and kept it for about 8 years. Loved the car, but the steering wheel was ugly! Had a driver training day with Ian Luffy, he took it out on to the track and gave it a real fang around , he said to me handles better than the standard, as I held onto the door handle white knuckled 😂 Looking forward to your mods.... go the LEXCEN 😊

My old turbo VR V6 Acclaim wagon (ABS, cruise control and airbag were the only difference with Executive) weighed in at 1460kg with 3/4 of a tank of fuel at the Motorplex scales. Holden claimed the wagon was 50kgs heavier than the sedan but all the extra weight is over the rear wheels The Lexcen had the Statesman front guards but the headlight assembly is the same

The Lexen's were a beast back in the day. The better ECU meant they were quicker than the holden versions. I remember seeing lexens badged as holdens... hahaha

hey Scotty. any chance on one of these episodes we can have an in depth into the wiring side of things on the conversion. how to remove the v6 harness. install the v8 one. how to make the cluster work etc. love the channel mate.

This build should be good as im about to do the same thing to a vb commodore, The 1uz is simple to wire and start aswell ive had my 1uz turning over on engine crane should be alot more reliable than the 5ltr currently in mine

For the steering wheel, get a commodore unit of similar age and just change the centre pad. The wheel is the same I believe.

Holy shit. This is mad, lexcen or not. #longrooflife. That tailgate inner plastic would net you a few extra $$ back, always broken 😭. Have a vs v6 s2 factory manual wagon myself. And a vr 5l manual ute....and a vs berlina sedan. Yes I'm a fan of this build 🤣🤣
