Carnage vs Shriek Scene | Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) 

Can we appreciate the fact that Venom was able to defeat Carnage while suffering from the symbiote equivalent of malnutrition?

For a sec I thought it said Shrek in the title

There minor details that really show the differences between Venom and Eddie and Carnage and Cletus. Venom and Eddie clearly work together in the fight scene and Eddie even gives Venom a pep talk when he doesn't get up. Not only that, but Venom even does everything he can to make sure Eddie doesn't die, as you can see when they fall from the top of the church, whereas Carnage doesn't seem to care whether Cletus lives or dies. Doesn't mean much, I know, but these details are just so fun to spot and talk about

I think what makes Venom different from other symbiotes, and hence why he's a loser, is that he takes the symbiotic bond to heart. Especially when he finds such compatibility with someone.

I'm sorry, the let there be carnage line feels so out of place. It looked cool but the line was just not the right time he could've said something else.

One fan criticism I do get is that Cletus and Carnage actually are a perfect match in the comics, but then I can also see why it was changed for this movie cause they wanted to make Eddie and Venom come out that much more as heroes by showing how much more perfect their bond is, especially after having them have a big falling out for much of the movie to come together again at this moment. I get what they were wanting to go for here is all I'm saying.

As a plot point for the film, it works quite well, but I kinda resent the fact that they made Carnage not a match with Cletus because it throws out the entire reason comic Carnage is a threat to Venom, that his bond with Cletus is so strong that they view themselves as one single entity rather than a symbiote (which is why, in the comics, he says "I am Carnage" rather than "We are Carnage" like Venom and Eddie say "We are Venom")

Lethal Protector is so 80's , even the cutting edge ai that makes the auto-captions gets it 100% wrong!

In some moments, I can hear the subtleness of Bane from Venom

And Soon after this; (Tom, Andrew, Tobey) Which - Peter 1, 2 and 3... along with their plethora of villains destroy an entire construction of a new monument addition for the Statue of Liberty. Can someone tell me why Shriek is saying, "That's too much?" Seems like it's in regards to Anne. And even though the scene isn't cutting itself completely missing some other interaction point to lead her to saying that to Cletus, it feels like it was. I didn't watch the movie for a number of reasons.

hopefully, Carnage decided to have 999IQ and separate a part of himself and bond back with Cletus, the way they killed off Carnage on the same movie he was born felt so rushed.

I hate how they got carnage’s visualization to a tea but they absolutely fumbled his characterization, I mean when the hell has Cletus ever said he’s not crazy? And why aren’t Cletus and the symbiote nearly perfectly bonded? And why does carnage keep telling shriek to shut up? Carnage is totally into that sorta thing, I can’t describe how much I don’t like these movies. To me the only good thing is their carnage design, everything else just feels so subpar especially given the pg 13 rating stopping it from being a bloodbath which it should have been, I mean where’s carnage just shoving someone into a wall? These movies portray these characters’ personalities and abilities so uncreatively it’s like the only thing they know about these characters is what they look like and that they’re aliens. Like venom, what’s the deal with the constant bickering? I can’t stand it, I hate bickering, and to see one of my favorite Spider-Man villains/friends turned into an old married couple just disappoints me. And the worst part is, the salt in the wound, is everyone loves these movies so much! And I’m just over here bein the only one who hates these movies with a passion.
