Right? Like calm down you're breaking my jaw and ouch drill any harder Fuck just take my teeth out with your loud Ass drill. Oh no not the same experience? Ok *rocks self in corner*
When this album came out in 2011, I was some dumb highschool kid who thought this was too far away from their “good” stuff. I wanted gutturals and endless immature crap. This album is now one in replay all the time. It’s honestly a masterpiece that didn’t get the attention it deserved. Don’t think there’s a bad song on the album.
Words like nails and now you'll feel the scratch A voice in my head says "Never look back" Watch me dig my own grave My own grave There's nothing left to love There's a lot left to hate Everything inside seems dead Let me live this lie instead I've got blood on my hands One thing God won't understand Never to escape this grave of place The day that God gave upon grace Rip my lungs from my chest Tear me apart until there's nothing left I don't feel anything Until there's nothing left of me Until I feel nothing Until there's nothing left of me Until I feel nothing Till the sun burns out or until I put my fucking eyes out What's worse? This world or my only way out? This world or my only way out? So I was there the whole time Forgotten when the world went blind Lower me down Six faces watch me Lay me in the ground Words like nails and now you'll feel the scratch A voice in my head says Never look back There's nothing left to love There's a lot left to hate Everything inside seems dead Let me live this lie instead I've got blood on my hands One thing God won't understand Never to escape this grave of place The day that God gave upon grace Rip my lungs from my chest Tear me apart until there's nothing left I don't feel anything Until there's nothing left of me Until I feel nothing Until there's nothing left of me Until I feel nothing
"There’s nothing left to love. There’s a lot left to hate. Everything inside seems dead, Let me live this lie instead. I’ve got blood on my hands, One thing God won’t understand. Never to escape this grave of place, The day that God gave upon grace."
it's not carnifex it's CARNIFEEEEEEEEXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
generic deathcore bands should take a lesson from these guys. i love how these guys dont chug 0-0-0-0-0-0 the whole time and actually use riffs and solos and shit. they actually sound more METAL than core. im not an elitist, but i do like how they add more of the metal aspect than core
Since you're so sure of your condemnation of an entire genre, I would like you to find ten deathcore artists that play 0-0-0-0-0-00-0-0-000-0 over and over with absolutely no intricate rhythms. I doubt you will. You might bring up Emmure and the Acacia strain, but they're pretty unique, and not a lot of others have followed in their stead. If you're talking about breakdowns, then fuck. That's like, the point of deathcore. Take them out and you just have more aggressive death metal. Seriously, if you're going to spew vitriol towards things in which you have no knowledge of, at least make some semblance of an effort to educate yourself in these matters. Good septic flesh cover though.
I really enjoy this songs structure when it comes to cooperation of the instruments it's done very well and it's definitely a song to learn to play if your looking for some intermediate death metal riffs
Carnifex is one of the only Deathcore bands i enjoy, Along with Despised Icon and (old) JFAC. And i'm a die hard death metal kinda guy. This still has loads of Death Metal influence in it as where most Deathcore bands have become so diluted and just hallow. Carnifex keeps it real props
I remember seeing this in a video by April & Wayne Show about how Metal will take anybody who listens to it to Hell. It really opened my eyes...so, I started to see the truth...that Carnifex is fucking brutal.
+Jacob Herrera Hey I love the April and Wayne show after I watched their video with Carnifex in it if not for them I wouldnt have found this band until way later :D Hail Satan the only true god.
I'm now wanting to feel nothing, I want to feel the hardness of this song as much as I don't want to feel nothing but my sadness. This song is nothing more than perfect.
To be honest, I had suicidal thoughts on year 2011 when this song was released. For some reason I haven't been able to listen this for a very long time. Even though my life has a lot more light and things are fine nowadays, I still think this song and its lyrics are great lol.. underrated band, carnifex rocks 10/10
OdobenusPotatus how are those bands bad? I respect your opinoins on the 1st 2 but Make Them Suffer are a really unique, poetic/creative band/TAIM are an extremely brutal pretty much near-death metal bamd
I heard this song for the first time in 2012, I was in elementary school. I came back 12 years later because I need this at this point in my life, until I feel nothing.
Draden Merenox no no no. Don't get mad at me, i didn't say dxc is shit,i said that metal elitists say it. will people grow up listening to this? hell yeah! i'm 15 and im so into metalcore that i learn how to scream now. will it be classical? hell yeah, like slayer or metallica, some metal/deathcore bands will be the idols of "upcoming" new genres. and also, if we take a look at mainstream radio music, i barely think that metal will die just because the breakdowns and low tuned guitars and/or mixing metal with electronical music.
the song that made me fell in love with Deathcore. This is so much more sophisticated and athmospheric than 99% of the genre was at this point in time. True inovators
Sheep shall fear what they don't understand. Listenan we call it the metal head brotherhood, because you're either born with it or not. And you know what I mean by "it" nigguh
For the deathcore mainstream I would probably say Chelsea grin, Suicide silence, Emmure, All shall perish, Born of osiris and Whitechapel. Attila is also hella popular recently but not sure if they still can be called deathcore. Also not really sure about Despised Icon and Carnifex tbh. I mean sure, Despised Icon is a deathcore legend and Carnifex are getting bigger and better since Die without hope but still I feel like that they are still not that well known as the above stated.
Why are there so many sarcastic answers? He just asked a legitimate question, maybe he's new to metal and doesn't know every fucking subgenre of it. To answer the question, it's deathcore.
This band kicks ass they seem to go all out on their music videos they sound similar to Chelsea Grin with those what I like to call "zombie growls" and mixes it with the highs amazing!!!!!
+Xtreme Gamer I think his vocals weren't becoming worse. On 'Die Without Hope' he sounds a bit different but it's probably just a producing/mastering thing. Sorry for possibly bad english, please correct me if neccessary. :)
It doesn't matter which band is better, I'm pretty sure most of these bands are good friends with each other behind the scenes, especially since a lot of Deathcore bands tour together, maybe he'd be in SS half of the time an Carnifex the other half.
