The waves were like that when we were in Costa Maya last January, too. I think that's kind of the normal status there. We love Maya Chan! No, the water isn't stunning, but for Costa Maya, you really can't beat it. That mom and pop vibe is awesome and the food and service were top notch. We honestly avoided the main dining room entirely on our Celebration cruise. I hate that they kind of force you into the pay venues, but they aren't a huge price and I'm not on vacation to eat bad food. Sister and I spent 14 days on her on a B2B. We ate at Emerils, Rudi's, the Steakhouse and all the little included places.
